This asshole- this... *_THING_* was dressed up in a fucking business suit! Like he was off to work at the stock exchange, or something!, Pretty as you please. Bowler hat and umbrella hanging off of his too-long arms, and everything! The worst part is... [harsh, indrawn breath] the worst part is that he _spoke_ to me. He was clear across the block, and I could hear him, plain as day, like he was whispering directly into my ear. He said... 'Benny.' He said my *_NAME, RAE! MY FUCKING NAME!"_* [heavy breathing] I'm sorry, Rae, but I have to leave this city. I have to go before it kills me. I'll collect enough food to see me out to Yonkers, then scavenge my way up north. Hopefully the Cuomo bridge is still standing, and I can get far away from all this neverending rain. If the army wants to court-martial me for abandoning our post, well, they can kiss my ass. I'm not going to let that thing do whatever it's intending to do with me. Fuck this shit. I'm out. My only regret will be leaving you behind, but at least I'll be following your final orders to me. Good night, Rae." "Fuckfuckfuckfuck! It was on the radio the whole time! I clearly heard this time! It said my fucking name again. It was like... like he was marking me, or something. The chills it sent down my spine... I don't think I'll ever be warm again, Rae. The radio must have led it right to me. Like an idiot, I've been using it everyday, trying to get a clear signal, and that's when I heard it. I threw the goddamn thing off the building, but I think it's already too late. I see that damn face almost every day, now. I've never been this afraid, Rae. At least with those other things out there, you know they're mostly animal intelligence. They're just doing their thing, even if that thing is ripping people apart and rolling around in the corpse. But this... *_THIS_* thing... you can _feel_ the malice pouring off of it. The _malevolence_ is so thick, you could cut it with a knife. It revels in the fear. Drinks it in. Bathes in it. But it's okay. I've almost gathered enough food for the trek. I won't have to stop except to sleep, and right now, I don't think I _could_ sleep, knowing that thing is out there. Another day or two. I should be ready. Wish me luck, Rae. I'm gonna need it." "I'm finally ready. Got the food. Got the ammo. I'm only taking my M4 and the nine with me. Gonna need to travel light. Halloween is a helluva time to be going on a trip like this, but I'm not about to spend another night here. It's been a while since I was on an extended march. Gotta remember to pace myself. I can't... What the hell? It looks like there's something moving in the building across the street. What _is_ th- Oh, god, it's him! It's fucking him, Rae! I gotta go. Now! If I don't get another chance, I love you, Rae." "Oh god, it's fast! It's been chasing me for the past eight blocks, Rae! Ever since I left the CitySpire, it's been on my tail. Not even going through Central Park shook him! He just slaughtered the fleshripper pack I went through like they were nothing! They weren't even a speed bump to him! Oh god, Rae, what am I going to do?!" "I think I lost him. Finally. Three days of straight running through the ruins of old New York, leading him into fleshrippers, stiltwalkers, and even a nest of graboids did nothing to him. My only consolation is that we ran into that saber-toothed liger bastard again, and Mister Tall and Creepy literally ripped him in half. Vengeance achieved, I guess. It was only when we came across a baby zilla, that he finally had to stop. It took tricking him into fighting a twenty-story tall radioactive fire breathing lizard to get him off my tail. I swear, I am _never_ touching another radio again as long as I live." [sighs] At least I'm almost out of Riverdale. I can see Yonkers on the horizon. Hopefully, I'll be free and clear of this place soon. I better get going. No telling if he survived that fight or not, but I don't think I'm going to stop walking until I reach Canada if that's what it takes. I-" [whispered] "Bennnyyy..." "What the fu-" [end of recording]
@gavinleines6968 Thank you. I've been considering it, but I find it difficult to finish a project if I put it down for another, and I really want to finish this fanfic series I'm making for Harry Potter. I'm only on book 2, so it may be a while. I'll definitely put it in my book of story ideas. though.

Stop stressing about it and blaming yourself for things that are out of your control, I promise it will get better for you and you will find a beautiful future ahead of you. @@optimisticnihilist3417 Saccharine. PERFECT word for it. Yeah, for some reason The Saccharine Fairy feels a compulsion to drizzle sticky irrelevant syrup everywhere they go.🧚♂️
This is amazing, I'd love to hear more like this. The monsters sound huge and far away, like I'm maybe safe on a tower at the edge of the city but it's structural integrity is suspect... Love the addition of rain/thunder sounds too. The monsters have won.
I've been listening to this every night for a week now to sleep, and it's helped influence some of my dreams that I use to write my manga series. Thank you so much for this audio!
The immersion this gas is like a seed that could sprout something even larger, like a movie. Atleast one in my head, and thats spooky enough as it is. Good video
You stop to catch your breath, you've been running from Monsters and managed to lose them in the storm. You creep up on an abandoned skyscraper, these old ruins are all that are left of a world that once was. You scale the building and settle on a reletively dry floor, only problem, is that it's missing alot of walls and a gaping hole allows for the sound of rain and your hungry hunters, but hey, it's better than being on the ground. The building feels as though its swaying with the wind, the creaks and aches of the old steel beams sound but it holds firm. You take up what looks to be a corner office and put down your backpack, youre soaked, but starting a fire would attract unwanted attention. You sit in the corner of the room and eat your small amount of rations. You're safe for the moment, but the sounds of your hunters never ceases, they are looking for you... I wish you the best, and hope you make it through the night
You make it through the night....again. Every minute one eye open switching back and forth. It's daylight go ahead and make that fire now better eat the food and check weapons,Condition, ammunition, gear condition, dry out whats wet. Check to see whats your next destination, mount up. Keep your wits about you. Remember it's you or them. Move out. Good luck
i don't know why, but this puts me to sleep better than any other ambient noise video does. Even after at least two weeks in a row, it's not getting old or losing its effectiveness. I've found a new home at night... and it's THIS crazy crazy world 😅
I think there is something comforting in imagining a time where there is no crippling anxiety brought on through the stress of paying bills, working like a dog until mental & physical exhaustion and living in an ungoverned society where literally the only stress is that of trying to stay alive long enough to see the next second, minute, hour and day. Compared to modern living, this thought just floods my body with a feeling a of calm and almost a pondering 🤔 wish for it to become so, and sleep then overwhelms me😴😴😴
You may remember times you didn't study and regretted it afterwards and thought to yourself "Man, if only I studied for that relatively short period, I wouldn't feel so bad about myself now." Now is the time everyone. Study hard and try and understand what you're studying, but don't forget to take regular breaks and stay healthy!
Seriously one of my favorites to sleep to. Its creepy and eerie. Yet relaxing. I feel like the rain muffles the sound of your movements so you can sleep as best you can, knowing the rain will muffle you. The smell of the water dampening their sense of smell so you can eat your rations without worry. Just...alot to think about.
Today, as I write this, the city is already infested with monsters. And this is the saddest part, only a monster can fight and win against another monster, and for that reason, the monsters multiply endlessly. In this moster infested city, only the most ferocious shall prevail.
Ok i'm gonna call it 'the last of us asmr'. Waiting outside a crumbling skyscraper in the pouring rain hearing infected approaching from afar. So atmospheric.
Finally got around to watching Pacific Rim at 20 and have been looking for any sleep aid similar to the dystopian kaiju hellscape situation they have going on there and this is p e r f e c t
After running from monsters for hours on and off, you duck into this high rise apartment complex. You're running up the long spiraling stairways, you're so tired but you are losing the monsters in the distance eventually. When you can't hear them and finally run out of energy, you end up on the 27th floor and take shelter in an apartment. You barricade the door with decrepit furniture just in case, and catch your breath out on the balcony...
Day 120. It has been 3 hours since the raiders have attempted my base in the remains of big Ben. They've attempted this before after I refused to let them in. I know what They've done to others survivor like me I've seen it here from the bell tower. First a few would ask to be let in with offers trade and ammo then the whole group would attack. They rush in taking food, water, weapons and any poor person that caught thier eye. Then when they're done they tie up any survivors in the middle of the camp, them create a lot of noise and leave all the while any monsters come and feast on the tied up survivors. I've seen it happen multiple times and I have tried to warn others but to no success. One of them must of spotted me when I was out looking for supplies but I will not let them in I've been preparing a surprise for them when they come back in the distance I saw one of the monsters roaming about it was a least 5 stories tall . I plan to lure it to the raiders when they attack again. I've seen how terrifying they are it took at least 6 tanks to kill just one and the weapons the raiders have will only serve to annoy it . I'll be in The panic room I made when it goes down if I'm lucky it'll leave after killing the raiders if not..then I say despite their appearance the sounds they make are beautiful like the noises of a whale especially when heard in the distance I've fallen asleep countless times listening to it dispite the world falling to ruin it still is peaceful at times. They're coming back with what seems like the whole group this time ether this will be my last entry or you might hear from me again in a day or so wish me luck( end of audio log)
It's got a sound not unlike playing Fallout 3 with the best weather, additional monster and ambient sound mods installed & the addition of creaking buildings or other dangerously shifting infrastructure. A bit repetitive, but that's most long ambiances for you. But whatever it sounds like, it's a cool addition to the genre. Good job Twisted A.
Log date 12.15.59 These roads were once bustling full of people with dreams and ambitious but now they're empty over run with monsters and other nightmarish creatures i see them everyday and everynight their horrorific cries and roars keep me up at night. These foul beasts came out of no where and attacked us no one couldve predicted this its like its from a video game or something but, this is real life and there are no save points or respawns one wrong move and you're done for....game over... its difficult to sneak around and look for reasources, some of these beasts from what i can tell are highly sensitive to sound so i have to keep watch for the rainy seasons that when i can gather what i need....im scared...when it rains thats when im most scared thats because ill have to go out there and risk it all...i ask myself sometimes "why do i keep going on like this i dont really see a reason anymore" i feel alone i havent ventured out the city yet i dont think i can im trapped but i have to try....its about to rain again....i hear them, they're close...i need to get out of here..... I've heard many of these videos but this one is very different and amazing I love it finally something I listen to and still relax and fall asleep too thanks keep them coming.

DIFFERANT I'd have NEVER thought of listening to this. I DO LIKE THE SOUND IF THE MONSTERS AND BROKEN METAL. THUNDER AND RAIN. JUST MAKE UP OUR OWN STORY IN OUR MINDS WHILE LISTENING TO A WRECKWD MONSTER INFESTED CITY. ❤
Nobody was the wiser when buildings began cropping up, presumably to accomodate the rapidly growing population. It was only when the population began disappearing but the building count was vastly growing did anyone start questioning where they came from.
Hello future person, I wish you the best to survive longer until those devils vanquish from your path. Stay strong and don't give up, you are our hope and you know that.
Real cool! makes me feel like I'm some sort of regulator wielding superhuman abilities standing atop a tall building soaked under a light rain, and my job is to keep these monsters in check before they breach a critical border that houses the last of humanity.
Reminds me of a dream i had just a few nights ago... The world ended and there was massive flooding everywhere and paranormal beasts stalking the swampy, half flooded world. I was trying to hide from a centipede the lenght of several city blocks when i woke up.
I am hiding in the edge of basement of the tower, I can see and hear everything but nobody could find me. I am safe here at least , I have a soft bed with a blanket, good night.
I tried explaining to someone that I fall asleep like a charm if I listen to rain sounds and imagine myself hiding from a serial killer in the woods. Either a machete weilding serial killer or sirenhead, it works every time because ill work a whole story into it. My friend said it was "bloody weird". Im so glad I'm not the only one who likes to mix peril with torrential rain to get to sleep.
After letting it sink in, your comment deserves more than a "lol" in reply. It's funny AF because it is, most regrettably, true. I'd compared this ambient piece to playing Fallout 3 w/weather, monster and ambient sound mods installed, but "POV - Detroit's best day" is deeply amusing and perhaps more keenly accurate than my Fallout comparison. A blithe comment on the tragedy that is contemporary Detroit MI and again, funny AF. Nice work, pyroissypy4460.
This is wonderful. I love the idea of being in a twisted reality with all sorts of variations of human and creatures, and more... Bloodborne/ Dark Souls creatures (Namely like the Sulyvahn's Beasts in Irithyll and Rom The Vacuous Spider, or ghosts and nearly intangible beings like Sadoko-San or the Mind Flayer- or you know, heckin *sky whales* ). My first fascination with this sort of thing must have been from DarkSiders II, where they had this hivemind like entity born of pure divine - or lack of being divine - hatred, "The Corruption", parasitic and an omen of death with black ferrous and web like tendrils discharging an equally black smoke(Ironically with the MC being the horseman Death, healing/ purging the places Corruption has touched with discretion). Yet, with the still somewhat intact architecture it feels like a humanity that has fought back sufficiently against these horrors, like it is a familiar thing, a fact of life. Maybe like the dark age of humanity in Destiny, with aggressive extra-terrestrial life raining down intermittently and primitive colonies with worship practices like at the time of B.C. or an existence like one in the game universe of Remnant: From the Ashes and it's gang forming, isolationist having, anarchist post-apocalypse (in retrospect those two universes have a striking similarity between the Dark Age and current setting of Remnant). I wonder if such creatures have a proverbial heart.
I can remember the end very clearly…like it was almost yesterday… The Last Year of Humanity… It started out as thunderstorms…the storms came out of nowhere across several regions around the world…but they weren’t thunderstorms… For something grew from the areas that were hit by the storms…strange flora…it looked alien to all of us…we didn’t know why it grew, HOW it grew from the areas struck by lightning…we didn’t know… What we did know was that the flora was toxic. The spores and pollen were too harsh for our lungs and bodies. Respiratory issues spread like wildfire and a good portion of them were FATAL… Then…then came the monsters. Not all at once, mind you, just isolate incidents and sighting…they were reptilian, they were feathered, they walked on two legs or four. They were green and brown and red and grey… But they became bigger and the incidents became more common and apparent. It was then that a bombshell of a truth was revealed to us… They were DINOSAURS… Now here we are…twelve months later and there’s only a few thousand of us left in the world. The flora has overtaken everything and the dinosaurs have become the rulers of this world.

Why do i love the thought of being safe inside a broken down building but hearing the monsters outside
Because you'll survive there, if you can get sustenance.

They were like... like pearly needles that slotted together perfectly. That's not even the strangest part. MY FUCKING NAME!"_*
[heavy breathing]
I'm sorry, Rae, but I have to leave this city. Good night, Rae."
"Fuckfuckfuckfuck! I'm gonna need it."
"I'm finally ready. I gotta go. Now! If I don't get another chance, I love you, Rae."
"Oh god, it's fast! It's been chasing me for the past eight blocks, Rae! Ever since I left the CitySpire, it's been on my tail. Not even going through Central Park shook him! He just slaughtered the fleshripper pack I went through like they were nothing! They weren't even a speed bump to him! Oh god, Rae, what am I going to do?!"
"I think I lost him. I swear, I am _never_ touching another radio again as long as I live."
[sighs]
At least I'm almost out of Riverdale. I can see Yonkers on the horizon. Hopefully, I'll be free and clear of this place soon. I better get going. No telling if he survived that fight or not, but I don't think I'm going to stop walking until I reach Canada if that's what it takes. I-"

Thank you...
@@optimisticnihilist3417
Saccharine.
As long as you’re still alive and kicking, they have not won.
There is a zombie safe zone one.
Sounds like some of the post-apocalyptic, horror games I play. Love it.

I've been listening to this every night for a week now to sleep, and it's helped influence some of my dreams that I use to write my manga series. Thank you so much for this audio!
I hope you make something awesome dude.
Даже интересно, получилось ли у вас и могу ли я с ней ознакомится
Did you survive your dream?
Wow that was amazing, Well Done! 😊❤ 👏 👏 👏
I've found a new home at night... and it's THIS crazy crazy world 😅
I found this video totally by random chance last night. Man, I haven't slept so good in a loooong time. This is awesome, I love it!!!
This reminds me of Cloverfield, or one of those really cool and well-made monster movies
This would be great as Halloween ambiance sitting outside for trick or treaters.
Nah
Hopefully a serial killer isn’t reading this.
What does this have to do with the video or the audio?
Seriously one of my favorites to sleep to. Its creepy and eerie. Yet relaxing. I feel like the rain muffles the sound of your movements so you can sleep as best you can, knowing the rain will muffle you. The smell of the water dampening their sense of smell so you can eat your rations without worry. Just...alot to think about.
Today, as I write this, the city is already infested with monsters. And this is the saddest part, only a monster can fight and win against another monster, and for that reason, the monsters multiply endlessly.
In this moster infested city, only the most ferocious shall prevail.
Definitely puts me in "The Crow" vs "Blade Runner" type of dark ambience.. Great work!
It's almost like monster from Godzilla or Fallout Far Harbour or even Cloverfield. Even Last Of Us. So cool and creepy.
Ok i'm gonna call it 'the last of us asmr'. Waiting outside a crumbling skyscraper in the pouring rain hearing infected approaching from afar. So atmospheric.
The last of us was huge inspiration in making it. I always was picturing the escape from Boston when I made it
@@twistedambience7954yeah I thought so, that's what I imagined immediately after hearing it.

It actually works
After running from monsters for hours on and off, you duck into this high rise apartment complex.
You're running up the long spiraling stairways, you're so tired but you are losing the monsters in the distance eventually.
When you can't hear them and finally run out of energy, you end up on the 27th floor and take shelter in an apartment.
You barricade the door with decrepit furniture just in case, and catch your breath out on the balcony...
“We stopped looking for monsters under our bed when we realized that they were inside us.”

This could mean many things.
@@belshir For real.
They are also under your bed; and in your closet, and down the hall. The monster inside of you will not slit your throat as you sleep

This is a great video for some reason I sleep at peace with this one haven't been out this fast in years more like this pls
More of this plssss
We got in!
Perfect for me to fall asleep to imagining i was in resident evil
It's got a sound not unlike playing Fallout 3 with the best weather, additional monster and ambient sound mods installed & the addition of creaking buildings or other dangerously shifting infrastructure. A bit repetitive, but that's most long ambiances for you. But whatever it sounds like, it's a cool addition to the genre. Good job Twisted A.

These roads were once bustling full of people with dreams and ambitious but now they're empty over run with monsters and other nightmarish creatures i see them everyday and everynight their horrorific cries and roars keep me up at night.

Seems like a picture with recorded sounds - animated rain and flying beasts/ant size zombies below - anything would have greatly enhanced this work.
This was made years before I had those capabilities, and I agree with you
Nobody was the wiser when buildings began cropping up, presumably to accomodate the rapidly growing population.
It was only when the population began disappearing but the building count was vastly growing did anyone start questioning where they came from.
Don't open a manhole lid, nothing friendly down there!

i could travel around inside it for years and it's easier than woods
I tried explaining to someone that I fall asleep like a charm if I listen to rain sounds and imagine myself hiding from a serial killer in the woods. Either a machete weilding serial killer or sirenhead, it works every time because ill work a whole story into it. My friend said it was "bloody weird". Im so glad I'm not the only one who likes to mix peril with torrential rain to get to sleep.

"This is Detroit before the apocalypse." -first 5 hours
"This is Detroit after the apocalypse" -last five hours

After letting it sink in, your comment deserves more than a "lol" in reply. It's funny AF because it is, most regrettably, true. I'd compared this ambient piece to playing Fallout 3 w/weather, monster and ambient sound mods installed, but "POV - Detroit's best day" is deeply amusing and perhaps more keenly accurate than my Fallout comparison. A blithe comment on the tragedy that is contemporary Detroit MI and again, funny AF. Nice work, pyroissypy4460.

I can hear this fitting the Hamlet in Bloodborne well
This is wonderful.
I can remember the end very clearly…like it was almost yesterday…
The Last Year of Humanity…
It started out as thunderstorms…the storms came out of nowhere across several regions around the world…but they weren’t thunderstorms…
For something grew from the areas that were hit by the storms…strange flora…it looked alien to all of us…we didn’t know why it grew, HOW it grew from the areas struck by lightning…we didn’t know…
What we did know was that the flora was toxic. The spores and pollen were too harsh for our lungs and bodies. Respiratory issues spread like wildfire and a good portion of them were FATAL…
Then…then came the monsters.
Not all at once, mind you, just isolate incidents and sighting…they were reptilian, they were feathered, they walked on two legs or four. They were green and brown and red and grey…
But they became bigger and the incidents became more common and apparent. It was then that a bombshell of a truth was revealed to us…
They were DINOSAURS…
Now here we are…twelve months later and there’s only a few thousand of us left in the world. The flora has overtaken everything and the dinosaurs have become the rulers of this world.
