@@johanbrand8601 Well do not follow strictly the fingers noted on the sheet in the video, surely from Dupre, there are more simple solutions. Example at 00:58 bottom left instead of switching 3 to 4 on F then 3 on E which goes to this difficult 4-2 to keep the F all next measure, just put 3 on F (no swith to 4), 4 on E, and just keep 3 on the F all next measure. And soprano is staccato you can just do all notes with 5 on that measure, no bother with 3-4-5 on B-C-D.
3:48 first measure, what you hear in the video is wrong the 5th note played on left hand is supposed to be an A double sharp, we hear an A simple sharp.
Rimane sempre un grande brano! Se fossi un regista di film lo userei come colonna sonora!! Nessuno mai lo ha fatto!!!! Peccato!!
Very nice.
Tricky piece this but once under your fingers it’s great fun 👍🏻🍻
Stunning! Where can I get this sheet music?
Thanks! It's in the Public Domain and can be found at IMSLP: ks4.imslp.info/files/imglnks/usimg/9/95/IMSLP03802-PieceHeoriqueFranck.pdf
@@DavidASimon Oh thank you very much sir!

3:45 second system second measure, why bother with 3-4-2-3-4-1... Just 2-3-1-2-3-1 is OK and less torsion of the hand without this 4-1.

Messy.
Try Latry. Much cleaner .
Holy shit this was bad.
Why?
@@cromorno8749 ...I imagine (hope!) Sir Reginald meant "Piece Heroique" is fascinating... powerful... and beautiful...!
It wasn’t perfect (i.e., some elements of phrasing and held note values), but I’d hardly characterize it as bad!
