I'm glad you showed the video with your bush hog mine was not working well because it didn't have solid brackets in the back I'm glad you had a picture of your bush hog thank you much you you should make a video of the trailer that she made I like to see how you made it
Looks great. I am new to using tractors altogether. Just bought someland in Kentucky. I have been looking at somebody that has a 9n presumably in fantastic working condition with about five attachments for it. All the good stuff. The price is what I would consider reasonable, under 3K fully delivered 300 miles away. I am still still torn because I like the 8nbetter.
You want a 8n, not a 2n/9n.. not having a live pto means you won't be able to run a post hole digger (very useful) or anything else that requires the machine to remain stationary while in use..
It isn't a hard part to find. yesterday's tractor forum has a parts section that has that part for sale. The channel "Dan Gingell and Rachel Gingell" also has an online store that you can purchase these parts from. There is a terminal on the switch that wires into the solenoid that rotates the starter when pushed, however the tractor has to be in neutral to start. It is also acts as a safety mechanism.

Those are 2n wheel hubs as well as for 9n .
I have that kind of start button. How does it initiate the start silinoid?
It’s also a hard part to find.
It works with a plunger that pushes onto a starter switch button
Try looking for the part on places like ebay
