- Chasing Snapper off the rocks in Perth after the storm was successful. Although the bite and run felt like a large stingray I was surprised at How big the fish was when it surfaced. good fight however tides turned in the last few moments and ..

Just unlucky, never give up. This makes me want to fish at South Mole more often.
its a good spot. I catch bait there quite regularly (herring and squid). I usualy have a big bait out but no luck yet, ive seen people have success with big fish but not me yet.

Yikes! Was cringing hard at gaff efforts. Why didn't someone help with the gaff? and going down lower on the rocks would have made a world of difference. Had a perfect window of opportunity at 2:53 to 3:03 hard luck man

I was using my old Penn 750
Do you prefer snapper sinkers or grapnel sinkers when fishing for snapper at the moles?
Snapper sinkers are less likely to snag👍

What I want to know is what was that hook was that bent , what brand so I never buy them? Great video brother love your content , the only hooks I have are BKK and Gamakatsu but I heard owner hooks are the very best .
It was a while back and cant remeber the brand. The brands you mentioned are terrific hooks, i now use owmer brand for the big hooks..they are really tough. Thanks again Paul👍

Get some reedys hooks have used lots of brands and i find them to be the best hooks for snapper never had one bend or break yet

ThÖse SnåP’SNÅP§ 🐟 are in my 🔝5️⃣ FÅV’s, managed a 95cm off North Mole some years bàck without a gaff, preferably a net. I had to Tímely rugby tackle , dodging the caudal spîkes into my carotid artery😉🤟🏼🎶🎸
To the amazement of a family fishing close-by, saw Walk up the rocks on my elbows with the rod in my mouth 👄😹🤟🏼The Father in the group oddly said, well nöW you’d have to clean it, I gladly replied by momentarily taking the rod out of my mouth 👄, that’ll have to eat ïT toÖ❗️🤣🤙🏼 🎣 🔛🎶🎸 🌊
