@@theariesexperiment4642 Actually the 58 Fury came stock is a 318 Poly V8. Which was also available on the other models. The only difference was the Fury came with dual quad carburetors. Other models could have a 2bbl or 4bbl. However… also optional on the Fury and all other models was the dual quad 350 Golden Commando. So yes the Fury and Belvedere could have the same engine.
If anyone has read the whole book, this is what Christine's form truly is. Now yes, it's a 2-door Fury in the movie, but it was supposed to be a 4-door.

Love this car from it's very way gone years. That's even prior to the movie.. Back in my High School day's, I saw 2 of these at the wreck yard.. I recall seeing the Intake Manifold having 2 Carbs that were placed diagonally on either side. The engine bay was jus as big as my bathroom.. These car were very popular for bringing illegal Aliens into the good Ole 🇺🇸 USA from Mexico's 🇲🇽 Border without anyone knowing what was under the hood.. So, knowing this car was beautiful it would also make you money crossing the USA Border...

Christine was a made up car that never existed… If a 58 Plymouth is red/white it’s going to be called a Christine. Actually it doesn’t have to be red or a Plymouth or a 58… People will still call it Christine. Also in the book Christine was a 4dr… so there’s that!

4 door imitations should be striped and filled with dynamite. There are parts on that car that would actually do some good. And yes I know about the book.

I think your four-door Christine would look a lot better not being lowered nice stock ride height that's my opinion but I think it would look better.
I'm not a fan of lowering... it's already been done but I may change it in the future.
