I've recommended ProjectionLab to many colleagues and on some Facebook FIRE and personal finance sites. I'm convinced you've built one of the best designed Web interfaces I've seen, but the software is very capable and increasingly sophisticated, so adding this type of training video is really helpful. Excellent video! Tax planning is one of the most important tasks for retirement planning. So yes, a deep dive on Tax Analytics would be welcome. Starting with how to configure the projection to accurately reflect all the tax consequences one encounters in retirement.
Great video! A part 2, 3 with some deeper dives would be awesome, including taxation, which is a challenging one. Being able to further adjust drawdown accounts and amounts - ie. order but maybe %, or $ amounts, at different milestones, etc per account in an effort to try to best smoothe out taxes over my retirement which usually means paying the least total taxes to the greedy Canadian government haha, would be awesome. Or being able to do a quick analysis with drawing order/%/timing etc that smoothes yearly and minimizes total taxes would be amazing. Keep up the great work on PL.
Tax Analytics should be coming soon (today). Make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications. More granular drawdown options have been requested in the past (it's on the public changemap). If you'd like to add your voice to the discussion, strongly encourage you to join the Discord (link in the description). There are ways to manage your drawdown order today, and we have several threads discussing these approaches. I have just discovered your product and it looks really useful (discovered on the SSA website). I'll be retiring in about 3 months and would like to model our retirement finances - Social Security, 401k withdrawals, using other investments and so forth. Would love to see a video focused on how to use your software during retirement rather than focused on planning for it.

I know automated sync is probably not realistic, and I'm happy to do a little manual data entry once a month, but I've gotten a little confused about where and how to update that information when I've tried to do it in an existing plan. If you can use the custom tax config UI to capture the details, you can send us a JSON export and that could help accelerate the process of creating a template!
Using Vue.js, Paddle, and GCP mainly. I built PL to prioritize data privacy, so you can choose how/where your info is saved, know that it's never sold, and even self-host your own deployment if you prefer that. If there are any specific AI-related features you'd like to see, feel free to propose those on the public roadmap!
