- Author Douglas Murray says “old fashioned misogyny” is at play in the transgender rights agenda.
“I think a lot of stuff is wrapped up in it - including a dose of good, old fashioned misogyny I’m afraid,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Because the women who speak up on this are consistently … treated far, far more nastily than any man is.
“They seem to think they can bully women more easily.”

We haven’t managed to provide sufficient health care to a lot of women who actual face gynaecological issues, even cancer, and now instead we will start paying for pretend visits?
Years ago a friend told me for fun, if men were the ones with periods, tampons would be free. And I feel now that’s true, women strangle to get visits to gynaecologists to check their health, but a man decides to go state is ready to pay. Lol

uh, you said a lot there. I reread it and it made me think about something from my early years teaching biology.
I brought in a picture of young guys in a South Sea island culture.They had on lipstick, skirt-type outfits and 'interesting' hairdos.
I showed the kids to show that in various cultures, people see expressions of maleness and femaleness differently.
This was long before the alphabet/transgender stuff bubbled to the surface. The point, though was that these 'effeminate-looking' males were actually dressing to get INTEREST from the females.
They werent rejecting them and going off with other males.

A female human (as well as animals) has genitalia,internal body parts,xx chromosomes.

But what a lot of people leave out is the difference in hormones - the' traffic cops',aka 'Karens' that tell our bodies what to do, how to develop and WHEN to do it.
Development of sex- specific musculature, body hair and other specifics.
All designed for us to take on traditional roles.
If... we want to take them.
In history, we have always had men who had no interest in playing traditional male roles and women who rejected their roles as well.
We could handle that.
What's disturbing now is people 'fiddling' with established biological processes to make their desires more realistic.

Why do we need two men's leagues? Ten years ago when I first heard that some people want to bring the social science definition of "gender" into common use (previously it was a synonym for sex), I agreed. Whatever gives more granularity to the language is good IMO. But since then I have realized how dishonest they are, that they always intended to replace the use of "sex" in society with "gender." Which is absurd on its face.
For instance, sports were never separated by how people feel on any given day, they are separated by sex. They are separated by reality. Same with prisons and pronouns.
Any time you hear someone say the term "social construct" without sarcasm, they are not to be taken seriously. They are ideologically possessed, like talking to a Christian fundamentalist from the 18th century.

The U.K. governing body refused to take notice but the international body did and vetoed him racing. The guy had been winning medals in men’s races less than 2 months before!

Christopher, you nailed it. I'm 48, and a former paratrooper. I work for an agency that trains future military officers. I'm a civilian now, but accidentally ventured into an impromptu PT session led by an O-5. Not wanting to be the only one standing, I figured I may as well join in on the pushups (despite not having worked out to any real degree in the last 9 years). Interestingly, the majority of the female students quit long before I did... it was sobering... but not all that shocking.
I have female relatives that were raised like boys they are feminine But mighty. sad to watch them play dumb or anything else.

I’m a 41 year old man. Overweight and an ex boxer. 3 months ago I sparred with a top level woman boxer undefeated and 24 years old. I handled her with ease. My jab knocked her back a few steps and her punches bounced off me and I walked through them. If I underwent procedures to lower my testosterone there would be no way that would offset the 40 years of testosterone pumped through my body.

Men and women have different bone density, lung capacity, fast-twitch muscles, muscle-versus-fat ratio, blood oxygenation, etc. No matter what hormones a man takes, no matter if he's castrated, he still has a physical advantage over women.

The Olympics and other such events that distinguish between biological sexes and that allow men who think they are women to compete with real women have lost all credibility for anyone with common sense.

Watching from Boston, Mass, USA. Thank you for standing up for not only American women but, women everywhere who have to fight for their rights all over again. Ruth Bater Ginsburgh would be rolling over in her grave. She fought so hard for women here in the States to complete in sports, as well as give us the right to not have to ask our husbands' permission to open a credit card, among other things.

At around 13 minutes - it shouldn't be the female swimmers having to speak out and risk their reputations and careers and scolarships. I was a science teacher and a physician. I taught anatomy and physiology. I KNOW and teach that sex/gender is ONLY divided between 2 choices: male/boy/man: xy chromosome, body parts, hormonal production, puberty induced body changes AND female/girl/woman: xx chromosome, body parts, hormonal production, puberty induced body changes. I'm almost 44 years on hormones & closing on 4 decades post-op. This is utter madness and should not be allowed. Its nothing more than legalized cheating in my eyes to allowing a male to female trans person to compete in women's sport's and no It is not being transphobic to speak out about this, Its just stating the obvious. When i was younger and used to go work out at the Gym with my late husband. I got on well with the gym owners wife. One day she took me to one side and asked me if i was going to enter the Miss physique contest that was coming up. I said no what ever made you think that. I workout for my own benefit not to compete against others. I would not do that, it would be so unfair. That's not something i could ever do to a woman. The relief on her face was overwhelming she was almost in tears. She said it had been worrying her for some time as we would of been in same Height and weight class and that she had won many years running. She was 6ft tall & i was 5ft 9" just over. Todays trans seem to be so far removed and blinkered to what being female is that they can not even empathise with a women or see their own advantages they have over them in these areas when it comes to competing in sports. I find it hurtful and embarrassing. what it is to be transsexual as been hijacked over the decades and made a mockery of by these types that you point out. Its gone from transsexuals fixing a personal mind and body mismatch issue with one's self and then getting on with our lives unnoticed as best we can. To folk now who do not want to make any effort to be what they claim to be who actually thrive on the attention and privileges it grants them under the term transgender with all these new woke laws etc. Many are out to make others around them change their perceptions of what a woman is or fall fouls of the woke policing. It lunacy at it's best. I get labelled at TERF quite often because I will not side with these folks and their crazy demands and expectations. Transsexuals should not even be lumped under the term transgender as far as i am concerned. It's not even in the same postcode. I find all this very demeaning of all I went through and suffered growing up in the 1970's and early 1980s to be happy within my own skin. My intentions and actions back then were to change myself so I could be happy within my own skin, not to force the world around me to change or pay the price. There are different definitions of the word TRANSGENDER , The most prevalent is those who are political in nature and refers to anyone who considers themselves as different in terms of sex or gender. Most transsexual persons refuse to be lumped in with the TG Community, but others like non-op TG persons see political value in working together. A transgender person is someone who deliberately lives in a way opposed to their physical sex. For example, if a person is born with female genitalia and wants to keep it, but expresses and feels that they are a boy mentally, then they are transgender. Transsexual and transgender is not the same thing as transsexual is only applicable to those born with a need to correct their genitals as best they can, while most transgender people desire to keep their original genitalia. A person is born with transsexualism, and after surgery, they are no longer transsexual, and have never been transgendered. It is a hurtful myth to say that a person is transsexual after surgery. The whole idea of the surgery is to stop having transsexualism and to get on with life as if they never had the condition. For me and many of my old friends it was important to fix our mind and body mismatch ASAP and then get on with our lives. Often going stealth and only letting those who need to know about our past know.. The term transgender covers a wide spectrum of different folks. Most of whom are more vocal/visible. Hence more well known by the public online and offline as they tend to go out of their way to make their presence known and felt. Where as many of use old school transsexual's the aim was to fix the issue and move on with our lives unnoticed. Many of us had to make big sacrifices like losing family members and old friends and moving to avoid publicity at times. As that for us would defeat the whole object of fixing the issues we had with ourselves in the 1st place. For us it is not a badge we wear. Just a distant unhappy memory we rather leave behind us and not dwell on. This leads to our side of the story being less heard by the public, leaving them to assuming the outspoken ones most often seen kicking off on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & TH-cam etc are what its all about for all under the umbrella term transgender. Which is not the case at all. There are many of us out there in the world that can hold conversations with folk who disagree with us without resorting to branding them transphobic or getting catty and bitchy. It's a shame so many of these outspoken trans folks will brand someone transphobic at the drop of a hat yet forget it took themselves years to understand and accept their own situation. Bit hypocritical if you ask me. But hey that's what happens when what it is to be transsexual gets hijacked and turn in to a trans radical agenda/movement. It's now become a money spinner for many. It's like reality TV with a large helping of soap opera thrown in for good measure. Fed to an ever growing gullible audience grasping at straws.
They have only gotten away with it for so long because transsexuals tend to avoid outing themselves as it defeats the object of fixing the mind and body mismatch in the 1st place if you're going to and broadcast that you did it. I'm older now my husband as passed away I have nothing to loose and some one needs to speak up for the genuine transsexuals and point out the difference that the transgender agenda as tried to blur. I did my SRS in the beginning of the1980s then I just got on with my life with my late husband after my surgery. So was quite shocked when after my husband sudden death 31 years later and I went searching for a Post-op Transsexual widows support group and only found the embarrassing radical transgender agenda movement crap online that only serves to make a mockery of what it is to be Transsexual and trample all over women right as if they don't even matter.

I am not sure who knows less about science, science teachers who only took classes on how to teach politically correct subjects, or the politicians who defined those subjects (and their corporate/media overlords who fund them and pull the strings).

@@aidananstey9848 Science doesn't prove what they think it does. But a lot of people are willing to twist science. Even some of them that should actually know better. They tend to base it on the flimsiest things or completely misinterpret things to reach the conclusions that they do at best and are pulling things completely out of their asses at worst. Even when you get genetic anomalies involved. The genetic anomalies are mostly spoke about in the reference to the two sexes and they don't cover Transgenderism at all. And more deep and solidified psychological sciences don't actually agree with them either. But also firmly put the issue of transgenderism into the issue of a condition that needs quite a bit of addressing through various means, and basically ignores everything under the label of "Queer" and the rest. But they will tell you that you are entirely wrong and you don't know the science if you point that stuff out. Because they don't care about the science, or you actually looking into the science. They only care about hte agenda and you accepting whatever reason they give for you to support the agenda. Their claim's of the science are usually ultimately the same as appeal's to being right by dint of social authority.

There is a condition in some female athletes that makes them targets of the board, which say that they are at an advantage over other female athletes. These are flat chested and a little muslely. But note that they are biological females. They are very slim, too.
Now, I have never wondered if such a female is male or female or stamped any at any time as male. Yet the treatment from the board leaves them in limbo and they lose out on medals. So this swimming thing is a total contradiction.
I am a born American and proud to be one. I tell you for a FACT, real Americans don't partake in polls, I have never taken part in a poll. I would stay and defend my country, my property and my friends. They would all do the same. We would do it with our own weapons and fight for each others families and houses. America is just suffering from terrible leadership. If another Trump or Reagan gets elected, we will be great again.
