    It's not difficult. The electorate gave this government a clear mandate. Representation in cabinet should be proportional to the vote. Anything else would be undermining the people's will.
    Cabinet should ultimately be made up of 3 parties. ANC, DA, IFP. NO ONE ELSE HAS ENOUGH OF THE VOTE TO DEMAND A POSITION.

It's quite simple. Anything else would not be fair and would undermine the will of the people. This should be the starting point.

    Then do not call for a GNU if you are not prepared to share cabinet positions proportionally. Technically, any party with less than 3% of the vote should not be considered for a cabinet position.

      That’s the million dollar question 😊 I think he’ll try and do both… He’ll prioritize his party and try and get away with offering less than 1/3 to DA. I doubt it will be proportional, that’s why this is taking so long. ANC deliberately invited all the smaller parties in to dilute the DA. ANC have forgotten about who voted them in and this will cost them down the line.

    The solution is simple though. Ramaphosa must resign. Paul Mashatile takes over. DA & FF leave the coalition (hopefully together with the IFP). EFF and MKP join the coalition. The business of the government continues, the programme to develop our country and its people begins.
