- On this reaction video we chose to react to BLACKPINK ‘Sure Thing’ Live Cover (Miguel) because we both love the original song, and it also was our first time seeing BLACKPINK perform LIVE!
We didn’t really know what to expect, since we have only watched Blackpink’s music videos in the past so this was super interesting! It really showed how versatile they are and how much skills they have!
Looking forward to continuing to react to their amazing content. Also, I think we both are in love with Lisa.

they actually CAN sing, rap, and dance Live. Coachella is proof of that.. but this cover is nice because they performed this in one of their evaluations as trainees. Lisa and Jennie wrote the rap part. and it's refreshing to see them just chill sit down and show off their vocals with none of the choreo.

Fun fact... you can't debut from YG if you can't do live performances...all their artist are well known for their lit live and BP is no exemption... That's why the training process before Blackpink debut took 4-6 years... They are trained in sing, dance, rap, language, writing lyrics (though they are not credited or allowed after debut😩), public speaking, general knowledge or anything essential for them... That's why their rap line jennie and lisa can also sing so good (if u want to see Lisa singing cuz it's very rare unlike jennie who always SINGs too, pls watch her cover of L. O. V. E, together with Rosé😁)... And the vocal line, Jisoo and Rosé can rap too. Though its rare, we saw them rapping Jennie and Lisa's parts in shows before😁... They are trained on everything to know what they are best at.. That's why all of them have designated Main roles to fill in the group... Jennie is Main Rapper, she have a solo song titled Solo, Jisoo is Main Visual (Beauty) but we all know how amazing her voice is. her cover of YUKI NO HANA is a MUST WATCH🙏🙏🙏... Rosé is Main Vocal, her cover of Someone You Love is amazing... and Lalisa is Main Dancer..all her dance performance is a must watch too... Lilifilm 1,2,3,4😉 would be a good start...
No matter what others do to discredit Blackpink of their success on making fake rumours and accusations.. Blackpinks success is because of their talent, skills, overall personality and the great group of people who work hard with them as a team... The girls are always so thankful to their team and say that Blackpink is not just the 4 of them but includes everyone on their team... Their appreciation on everything from big to small, including the fans is heart warming...

This is the performance that usually "sets the hook" for western baby Blinks (like I was....) - it just shows a different side of them and harmonies that they don't typically use much in their own music (which is my one complaint about their producer: they've got great, complementary voices, try letting them sing together!).
You should watch their Coachella performances of "Kill this Love" and "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" - they do dance and sing through the entire song - that's expected in kpop. But they kill it with a live band.
