To be honest I’m not too sure what the point of your Sims having a purse or bag would be. Sure, it’s more realistic, and they could have their inventory in there, but it seems unnecessary. Although, the thought of my Sims carrying daisies they haven’t planted or spoiled meals they didn’t eat in their purse is funny.
Anyway, I’m not hoping for usable purses in game. But I’m probably in the minority.

I have never personally wanted farming, but I'm so happy that they've listened to what the majority of simmers want. Sheep would have been much more British than llamas, but llamas are very much more sims than sheep I suppose.

In the beginning of the trailer it looks like the Sim doesn't like rabbits. So I wonder if now we will have "animal preferences" like we have for colors, hobbies, etc.
I feel like they should’ve done that when they introduced likes and dislikes since there are already cats dogs and fish and all the animals from my first pet stuff

I legit cried with the bunnies!! They've managed to animate binkies (excited jumps) and everything! I just can't with this. I've had free-roaming rabbits all my life. I'm so overwhelmed!!!!!

I'm assuming though that there are no lops as they've specified "wild rabbits" even though some of the colourings they've used are not found in the wild...

Glitches and bugs? Untested content sold for a full price. Also cutting out content from packs and updates and selling them as overpriced kits? No thank you. This franchise and packs are only getting worse each year. Not to mention still a major lack of diversity.

This pack looks pretty promising! I think it will pair well with a lot of other packs like eco lifestyle, nifty knitting, seasons, cats and dogs etc. which will hopefully make all the packs blend well together.
I imagine horses coming with maybe a game pack based around either horse riding sports or a Dude Ranch of some sort. I'd rather get a horse with personality than just a farm horse. (I mean more doing other stuff aside from being a farm horse)
This would be the perfect expansion to introduce ceiling tools (sloped ceilings, beams, all that cute cottage stuff). Speaking it into existence. Come on, EA.

@@SaintShion no. ‘We’ haven’t. A large percentage of us have given up with slowly being spoon fed mush by EA when they literally have the capability of providing a feast.
In the trailer when the jury is walking you can see a house in the background with a roof that we can't make now, so if it isn't just a part of the background we will propably get something new about roofs/shorter walls, but that's the closest to new ceilings I found (1:35 on the trailer)
I'm guessing the purse hitting is a Mischief interaction. Kinda like how your Sim suddenly gets a drink in their hand to pour on someone
That was the vibe I got as well. Perhaps that goes along with some of the lore and like "everyone knows everyone" theme they had going on too and some Sims will hate eachother.

I think it’ll be restricted to Mrs. Crumplebottom. She is an NPC, and they typically have interactions closed off to playable sims.
I use to be angry with EA’s laziness but the amazing direction the sims is going in is amazing. It’s hard to stay mad at them for the past mistakes I’m excited to see what’s further ahead of us.
I really want a horse/stable pack even if others don’t. I know it would take a while and they probably wouldn’t be the best at first but I love horses and would love to see a future pack including them!
I feel like horses would make an excellent kit or game pack.
Yeah I can see why its seperate but it would still be nice to have. I expect a smaller but more specialized pack like we got in sims 3. Hopefully with similar features as that one was gold. I miss my unicorns :')

I'm glad this pack is happening because people who don't use mods and console players can have farming now.
I’m glad the cc is available because I probably won’t be able to justify forking over the money for this pack. But the cc looks amazing. So it should give me my farming fix until this goes on sale. And they’ll probably work well together tbh.
That’s the only reason they’re coming out with a farming pack now. Can’t have cc creators looking better than them (even though they continue to look better than them most of the time anyways)
@@WarmBreadBearBuddy that's not how it works. It takes at least a year if not more to plan and work on an expansion pack. The community has wanted this for years and since EA has loosen their hold on the Sims, they've been able to give us more of what we want.
@@marisides1415 Yeah… I will admit the sims team has been better at listening to us recently but cc creators have been making most of the things the sims community has asked for before the ea team itself. I’m not trying to sound unreasonable and ignorant but that was just my idea of it at first.

@@SaintShion It looks like the bunnies are tied to the stump! So like the llama/cows stables and chicken coops, they're tied to objects which summon them on your lot. I COULD be wrong, but thats the impression I got. I do wish they were CAS pets though ;_;

I'm a little bit happy fairies aren't coming. Aliens and Mermaids were pretty shallow background ocults in the expansion packs, so if we get fairies I would want there to be a sepreat game pack or something for them, like spellcasters and vampires.

The Point of putting extra Bonus Content for People who buy the Pack early is obviously that they want to sell the Pack fast. Probably because they need the Money AND maybe because very soon they announce the Sims 5.
The whole summer of sims is a total money grab. They know they're bumping out a ton of content real fast and want to get return of their minimal investment lol
The point is to keep people from waiting until the pack is on sale to buy it.
Yeah I wonder if it looks bad that most of us wait months after pack releases to buy, so they're trying to motivate people to buy early? I don't buy packs until they're fixed and on sale 😅

I love that they're giving a month between releasing the pack and the last day to get the bonus content. It seems like they're aware that their track record on buggy packs makes them not-as-trustworthy, so folks will have some time to wait on reviews and patching the glitches before purchasing and still not miss out on the bonus content.

I am so stoked about kids being able to bake/cook! I hope it's not a modified interaction, like the way kids in Sims 3 can only use the kids stove. It'd be nice to have kids help around the house more.

Just wanted you to know how much I enjoy watching your videos. You are always so enthusiastic about everything...not to mention funny. I crack up quite often at some of the things your Sims get up to, and what you say in response. XD Thank you so much for making all of the videos and streams that you do! You're the one who got me into the game. I had been curious about it for a long time, but had never tried a Sims game until after watching some of your videos. Now, I have not just the base game, but also a few expansions and packs that I bought when there were sales. :D So, just know that you have influenced me (and probably many other people) to buy and try out the game for ourselves. And I LOVE it! I still have yet to try building houses, because I'm not sure how to go about it, but I will definitely try that soon. Do you have a tutorial for those just starting out? Can't wait to see your next video! Love ya!
My guess is that the preorder bonus items are to encourage more people to buy the pack before it goes on sale. I know a lot of people wait until sales to buy packs, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this one isn’t discounted until after September 2nd

yeah lately I don't see the point in buying packs full price because I know they will inevitably go on sale (and not even that long after release lately) and I can wait it out, and I think EA have picked up on that and its a little manipulative even though I know they need to make their money back
Everyone seems so cynical about this, I'm sure that the extra content will be available in a kit, and you just get it for free if you buy early. They won't vault content from players, that's just denying potential sales.

in the sims 2 mrs crupplebottom hit people with her purse. though there wasn’t actual purses in the game. she’s an npc so clearly they could program her with special interactions.
Sims 2 has been pushed so far out of my mind... what triggers mrs crumplebottom to show up? Or does she just wander around in the world etc.? Did she have a home/could you play with her like the other sims?

She was triggered by public intimacy and by the wearing of bathing costumes, so she would tend to turn up anywhere that had a swimming pool or Jacuzzi. if you owned such an establishment and were trying to run it as a business she would be the bane of your life as her antics would tend to drive paying customers away - at least until you realized you could keep her occupied by adding a bowling alley or a card table to the establishment. And the other thing she loved doing was knitting, which she would indulge in whenever there were no bowling balls to bowl or cards to deal or scantily clad sims to bash.

@@caitlinn8616 it might just be a reference to the story. The main jist of Alice in Wonderland is that she follows a white rabbit and falls down a rabbit hole and goes on a weird and fantastical journey to go home. (Disney version) The original is a bit darker and I don’t fully remember it.

7:38 indeed when it came to the star wars and get together pack I felt like a kid again able to mix a medevil village and yet have a steampunk/star wars feel to things.played Sims though my whole life from the pc to GameCube to Xbox now. Sims will always be a game I love

Up in NH and VT we have quite a few farms with llamas along with your cows, chickens, sheep, etc. It's pretty common here.

I’d imagine the bonus content is bc there are all sorts of deals and discounts in the fall, so they want people to buy it full price. I often wait for the first 50% off discount to get new expansions, though even without bonus content, this is definitely one I’ll be buying right away
Agreed. I'm glad they are doing bonus stuff, but these items don't do anything for me, specifically. Gotta decide if I would buy it first day anyway, then its worth the pre-order
The tree with fairy lights Kayla pointed out is one of the bonus content items. That’s the only thing that’s making me want to buy it early and not wait for 50% off

What excites me most are all the updates that they’ll hopefully put into the game. Like making all bodies of water accessible to sims and being able to teach your kids how to cook.

I LOVE that you can have kids help cook now! I've had sim families where one sim passes their love of cooking onto their child without it just being a trait you give them when they turn into a teenager
