I saw you use it in the Gen2 vs Gen3 impact challenge (very useful info). Can you guys do a comparison test on M12 Gen2 vs M18 Gen 2/3 (Drill/Impact)? I got the Gen2 M12 kit with the extra 6ah battery and love it so far. Obviously M18 is going to be more powerful, but it would be cool to see a short video on the power difference. Heck, bring out some 18V competitors and compare to the M12. I bet the Impact will hold it's own. Been debating about getting the Gen3 M18. Do I need it? Nope - but I love tools!!
I keep grabbing this gun out of my workshop for baking breads in the kitchen for dough proofing and verifying the oven temperature. Also love their corded variable temperature heat gun with LCD on the back of it.
I have a blue point and performance tool which both are great but AA... Gotta get the m12 too. Nice big display numbers and no need for sound. The rubber adds serious durability. Enjoyed the upbeat mood and comedy as well. Thanx
I use a Fluke 62Max. Ive had it awhile now. They are good to use for a quick check for obvious issues (example really hot/really cold.) they lose accuracy on shiny surfaces. I do like the idea utilizing a battery. They are also good for use in facilities like a school. Can help narrow down what part of a building is having issues with HVAC without disturbing classes. Just shine through the window to see if its way off.
gmguy156 i have the fluke 62max and i am very disappointed with it...fluke is supposed to be the best testing tools out there...you know how pricey they are...i only use fluke meters period...they are the best out there....but the 62max is a piece of crap in my opinion...its not very accurate and has the worst battery life i have ever seen...i seem to be replacing the battery once every 3-4 weeks...it only uses 1 AA battery...and fluke should be embarrassed by the accuracy...you would think its a fluke so it would have the best accuracy but it doesnt...im gonna look into this milwaukee temp gun since i have M12 tools already
kingofthecrease30 Man I dont blame you based upon your experience at all! Thats terrible. I dont use mine a whole lot so maybe thats why I haven’t noticed issues yet.
Fusion2016 i dont need a thermal imager...no use for it...i only need a basic temp gun to take temps for hvac & refrigeration...fluke usually makes the best test instruments but the one i bought is not one of them...im gonna try the milwaukee...its prob 1/3 the price of a flir...i know all about flir...its very good stuff
@@kingofthecrease30 I'm fairly sure FLIR makes a basic ir thermometer... It's probably expensive but probably well worth it. My buddy is in HVAC and has a FLIR imager, what a nice piece
I'm on the market right now looking for for one of this and I see Milwaukee have allot of them and different models so can you explain what's the difference between them?
My lead guy uses mikita brushless , I have few I let guys use for lenders or new guys on crew - would never let new guy use milwaukee - try mikita in challenge trigger is touchie -VINCE
Come on guy, at least read the instructions before trying to tell everyone how they work! 🤦🏻♂️. On these temp guns, the 10:1 means that at 10 feet away the spot you are measuring will be 1’ in diameter. At 1’ away the spot is 1.5”, at 3’ away the spot will be 3” in diameter… and so on.
I’m amazed that people actually watch you would be nice if you gave them some real facts and some meat on their bones instead of some airhead singing and dancing but I guess some people call it entertaining
