Another great video on the Lakes, thank you, very enjoyable, it’s been many years since I hired a boat on Windermere, but very surprised at the current charges, I paid nothing like that. Sunday lunch looked great. Thank you for making your videos informative, you are both doing a great job.

Great Vid as usual guys. I love the lake district but like you say its very busy in summer. I've never thought to go in Winter. The Karcher is the best thing since sliced bread for sure 👍

Great vlog again guys, we went to st bees 2 years ago and went to Windermere and me and my sister went in the Beatrix potter museum and it was amazing. But you are right in the summer we couldn’t get lunch anywhere. Beatrix potter use to go to Scotland and the Lake District as a child growing up, as an adult she married a solicitor and she also bred herd wick sheep which were prize winners and brought farms to keep the landscape she most loved in the Lake District.When she passed away her properties went to the national trust xx

that museum in Coniston is very good but not sure where you would park. there is or was a little CL right in the centre of Town but we have stayed at Coniston park coppice which was nice and a short walk along the lake and through fields into town. love that part of the country. we have not been for a few years so must remedy that! happy travels and I cant wait till your next vlog xx

Oh you are near us with your south lakes tour. We are in barrow in furness there is free parking here at Furnrss abbey, Walney island, rampside, xx

Love the lakes. We stopped 2 nights on lakeside car park last year and got the boat to bowness. It was great

@@NorthernersonTour also pier cottage campsite on Coniston is a great site. It’s what Donald Campbell used as a base for his water speed record runs. They made a film about him called over the water staring Anthony Hopkins. All filmed at pier cottage.

Car park at the back of Aquarium right down far end by railway siding is 24hr parking. Nice and quiet for good night sleep. Visitors shop and Boat boarding is next to Aquarium.

Hi, not sure if you have used or seen the Ship at Sewerby near Bridlington as a stop over if in the area as I haven't got through all your videos yet.
It is a great place great views and wonderful beers,
They do charge but you get a pub voucher to spend and its dog friendly.

Love it there, have swam the lake end to end 2 times and swam in it in Feb what an amazing place to be. Always found the lakes in MH friendly 😢

Sorry Mark but I actually laughed out loud when you had a dip in Coniston 😂. Ambleside looks amazing but somewhat spoilt by the traffic I agree. Great video you two , we are both desperate for a Chinese we've been in Morocco for 3 months , now working our way up the med , booked in for three nights in Benidorm first thing Chinese restaurant !! The lakes looked great it's a while since we have been !! Enjoy

We’ve just got back had a fabulous stay, so much better without the crowds, stayed at caravan and camping club site, would recommend

We love Bowness. Our static is that side so we often drive round to lakeside and get the boat to Bowness or carry on to Waterhead.
You can’t go wrong in the Lakes it’s a wonderful place xx

We had motorhome but now have static in Penrith enjoy x hey we love the albert .....

How do Mark and Lisa 🙂well that answers the question I asked earlier, Lisa, LOL. guess the answer was no. I must admit that when I stayed in Bowness in my old van- Bessacarr Bessie, I was a carer for my ill mum so never got a chance to explore Bowness. Now I'm on my own and in Viv-i-van, maybe that will change and I 'll venture back. I am aiming for a couple of nights in Keswick soon in Viv-I-van so I'm pretty much gonna be in the right spot for some bimbles. I might do a night park up where you parked so thanks for the heads up. I just now need to get used to solo van life-which is not that easy when you were used to travelling with someone else. I will get there though, and hopefully manage to meet up with peeps on some of the youtube van life meetups. As ever, loving the channel, LOVED the drone footage (id love a drone for my channel) and always enjoy your company on youtube. Bessy regs-Kenny

If not for Beatrix Potter we wouldn't have the Lake District as it is. She used proceeds from her books to buy up as much land as she could to prevent developers getting their mucky paws on it. She left it in trust with strict covenants on it.

William wordsworth has a place to visit in cockermouth his sister and his house. I live in Carlisle Cumbria we have a castle which still hold soldiers and a visitor centre, tullie house muesem, Carlisle cathedral, 20 minutes from Gretna green.

the reason why Beatrix potter is well known in the far east is that her books are giving to school kids to learn English, so they know all the stories when they grow up. you need to go to Keswick a much nicer area that doesn't have too many day tripper tourists, a great walk around the lake or take to a higher path and walk over cat bells (fells)

These parking must cost you guys a fortune come buy a small house in Scotland and go on tours on weekends just think all these morning rolls mark haha
