The Derecho: During the Storm

This is the first part of a series of videos about the Derecho that hit Iowa very hard Monday August 10, 2020.
A derecho is a long lived wind event over 250 miles and has wind up to 120 MPH. It is essentially an inland hurricane. It started in South Dakota/Nebraska, moved through Iowa topping wind speeds at 106 MPH, moved on to southern Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.
This video is the storm. The next will be damage through town and at our house.
