How To Swap Cancel Out Of Every 4-Cost Echo Animation | Wuthering Waves Guide

Animation cancelling is such a cool mechanic in this game. When I found out you could animation swap cancel echoes, I knew I had to experiment with it, and I thought I might as well make it a video and share my findings with everyone!

Good to the point video. However, how do you get your heron to track properly? Mine just flies forwards and hits like 2 ticks, even with target lock on

it says in the heoin description that it must do dmg to give buff
are u sure swap cancelling this early with it is ok?

Yep, there are 2 parts to the Heron - 1 where it gives Energy after any attack from the Heron hits, and 2 where it gives a dmg buff after the equipping character triggers outro skill.
I've tested it and the short-hold swap always gives the energy, but for the tap swap, if u miss, u dont get the energy (so even more reason to always short-hold swap).
For the dmg boost, u just need to make sure u trigger an outro skill, as long as u do that, instantly swapping will still provide the buff.
