The gameplay was really good as well. It’s sucks they don’t make games like this anymore. They spend many millions on each game and mainly focusing on creating a long a’ss story, with voice actors etc, instead of just creating something different instead of the same bs, it’s always shooter games and big open world games that someone like myself get tired of halfway through and never complete. Yeah! Compi is my best fav out of that game, but that velociraptor is something else. No raptor ain't doing back and forward flips, rolling, and jump attacks that much I called him Red Eagle Claw. Wished we seen more velociraptor gameplay taking on Carnotaurus, AKA sun glasses.😂😂
My Dad got this for me along with the PS1, and Tekken 2. We used to play it together when I was about 7 years old. He passed away a few years ago, but looking at this game brings back some happy memories! It's funny how something so simple can bring back some great times i had with the old man
I loved this game, couldn't believe how good it was. Playing as dinosaurs, really satisfying controls (shooting stuff felt good), the grand, cinematic soundtrack. One of my childhood favorites.
I remember this game, it was SOOO damn hard!! I never actually made it through the whole game, but I had a lot of fun with it. I will enjoy these two hours :)
Let’s just say the gameplay design wasn’t the best and that made it extra hard… levels could be quite confusing and the spotty platforming didn’t help. That Giacchino soundtrack is just as great as I remember though
I would like to personally thank you for adding in the Gallery sequences. I was looking all over for these because I couldn't get some of them as a kid. You satisfied my curiosity :)
I died so many times in this game. Never got past the level with the stomping brachiasaurs, I think that's like the 4th level. I managed to guess one of the passwords randomly and skip to the T-Rex and also the Velociraptor stages. I didn't have internet back then... I still liked the shit out of this game. I was quite young though.
Yep. Couldn't get past that last damn Compy level either. Pretty silly design flaw, which meant many players missed out on a whole bunch of other levels.
thelunn I will tell you that while it's been a really long time since I played the game, one tip I can give you should you ever pick it up again is that the Brachiosaurs (however you spell it) have a pattern to their steps. Each brachiosaur steps in the exact same spot as the one in front of it. Also, they step forward a bit more (albeit slightly) with their back legs than with their front legs so if you want to do it slow and steady just watch the front leg, back leg, know the pattern and speed, move forward past the stepping spots, stop, rinse and repeat.

It's a shame the Human Hunter and the T-rex didn't get proper boss fights at the end of their sub-sections the way the other characters did.
