The reason militaries like them is the same reason gasoline works so well in engines - you do not have to add an oxidizer chemical that will create weight in bulk on your vehicle/weapon as it uses the oxygen in the atmosphere. This means you can pack a lot more of the fuel and make a bigger boom. It has nothing to do with killing people via asphyxiation.

I'm developing a game looking for defense ideas , imo, till this day look at the difference what they are offering to the ppl of Ukraine, Even after siding with China and we might see big things and the proxy war in middle east. If you don't have something that give the ppl what they want its a loss no matter how long it takes.
