    My great grandfather and great grandmother are buried in the Sponaugle Cemetery at the north end of the Little Otter tunnel.

    Looks like possibly the timber job above and around the tunnel has caused the original drainage to be blocked and causing the water diversion to the mouth of the second tunnel.

      i would say probably, not possibly, after walking up to the top of that tunnel; someone, whether it was the loggers or those attempting to preserve the tunnel, put a black plastic culvert pipe up there in an attempt to divert the water but it's not now working because of the sediment drainage from the log job
