This is a heavy train coming back from the quarry with loaded rock cars. The train also has loads of railroad ties from McCoy Lumber in Peebles, loaded covered hopper cars of grain from Winchester Ag Services of Winchester and flat cars that were in storage during their conversion progress.
This video shows the train passing through Mount Zion all the way through Williamsburg, Ohio with a total distance of nearly 30 miles. The best locations for filming along this line are right here. I even included the remainder of the line that used to go to Hillsboro. It still has a railroad crossing that we will see and we will see how old the rail is and how heavy.
Don't miss the train passing through Mount Orab, which is my home town and don't miss my favorite part which is Williamsburg Hill. That hill is steep and has very tight curves and a lot of trains have died on the hill. I have seen Norfolk Southern die on that hill in the rain during rush hour. This video is actually Part 2 for the video that showed the railroad switching on a bridge.

Loved the sounds of the engine being notched up as they hit the hill. sound of power!

NBSR has a siding leading a warehouse that once was very busy but now the siding has not been used so long there is a tree growing between the rails. God bless and take care.

The first train, a fascinating consist with expert Jawtooth commentary - a great combination.!With all that squealin' and moanin' to would make wonderful Holloween ghost train, especially at night. The very rural town of Winchester (Ohio) is charming. With grass that long between the rails, they only see a train about once a week? Appreciate your ID'ing the rails manufactured by pedigrees. The engineer likes watching my videos and he is in my Facebook group called Cincinnati Eastern Railroad Fans. It's pretty cool when he waves. I hope the pain in my mouth will go away. I got the plates replace on Tuesday so we will see. I think it's the screws in my jaw that hurts. There are eight of them. Anyway , thanks for watching and commenting!
June 1982. I got two wisdom teeth pulled. I was loaded up on novacane. Wasn't working that day n decided to go check out the yards. Ended up on a low speed chase of an 85 car wheat extra out the Friscos Ellsworth branch. Last train I saw out there cuz that fall, BN started pulling up the rails.

Nope. I was supposed to be going home from the dentist to wait for the shots to wear off. I can tell ya that one of three Green bn GP38-2's had it's Frisco horn, beacon, and nose lite. Only one Frisco car. The caboose and everything else was pure BN.

RE: those flat cars on the end of the train. The Trailer Train Company (TTX) has over 175,000 pieces of rolling stock and reporting marks from TTAX-TTZX, and ATTX-ZTTX. If you look up the reporting mark on the car, you can find the type and purpose of the car. TTXX, is defined as
"TTX Co. (de-racked auto flat not suitable for loading in its present state.)"
Green tag on rail says: "Home shop for repairs>"

@@JawTooth None at this time, but the mods to make it legal may be just a simple upgrade to the braking system. The nearest shop is in Columbus.

Great job catching the CCE in all those locations. The shots at Winchester and Macon were especially good. The info on abandoned trackage and lost customers is always helpful. Maybe you could go east of Plumb Run and look at some of the abandoned track. Hope you can find relief from the pain

Hey JT, there was 29 cars total and you was right there was 15 rock cars loaded and then the rest was gondolas and grain cars but anyway, every time you show that track I don’t even see how that rail stays standing on it because every cross tie on that track is rotten so rotten that the tie plates is pushed down in them but if they would change every third cross tie out and put some new ballast on it and re-tamp it and realign then the train could run pretty good through there but anyway, my friend another great video as always you stay safe out there buddy and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
I am told that they are going to be replacing ties this summer. It's been over 25 years since there was a major tie replacement project. A couple years ago they did some spot replacements but this summer they are supposed to really hit it hard. Thanks for watching and commenting Timmy!

I hope it gets better soon. Sometimes it's not too bad but then all of a sudden it feels like I have a knife in my gums. They replaced the plates on Tuesday

JT, I had pretty much the same procedure but only 2 stud implants ( for lack of the correct term), but had few complications. I feel your pain. Mouth pain is the worst. Hope u feel better soonest.
I had the All On 4 and all teeth replaced with a plate in the top and the bottom. 4 screws on each plate and that might be causing the pain

That horn.certainly got an extra workout with all those horn salutes. An actual pre-blocked train with the grain traveling the farthest. The Ties will probably go somewhere on the NS the Rock stays captive on CCET. Those flat cars may get their final conversion at the Old Jefferson Proving Grounds as there was some recent footage of numerous TTX cars being moved by some shop buildings. Indeed some small towns like Sardinia could have some very interesting track layouts while some only rated one small stub siding so thanks for the tour. Praying that you have successful healing so that you are pain free. Here's to Mrs Tooth and the flower shop helping out small town businesses
