I have some Patent pending Pmags from 2008 that I got before my first deployment and they have survived deployments, 7 IED strikes, all the trips to the field/ranges and who knows how many times dropped in a flack and they all still work. One of the best products ever made.

@@SOTB69I tried .300blk mags from lancer, after 4 range trips of failure to feed issues, I switched to gen3 windowed pmags .556. The gun runs better with 5.56pmags than 300blk lancers. Ridiculous
I've had good results with PMAG 20s and 30s for 300 BLK subsonic, but Magpul 40s bulge and bind, whereas "Ivan Kolev" mags don't. Lancers sometimes won't even feed 5.56 properly. The higher feed angle gen 3 PMAG or tan with blue follower USGI seem to work best with gun/ammo combinations that don't work well with other magazines.

One of my original vintage P-mags took a dump last year. The others are still going (in theory). I'm old enough to remember when Magpul was on a whole other level of innovation back in the day. The first day I saw the M93 stock, My jaw hit the floor. I still have it to this day. Apparently it's a collectors item.
Cool mags. I'd love to see you guys make the A-mag for the 2011 and for Walther/Canik. The translucent mag is going to be cool, I like those types of mags and Lancer leaves something to be desired compared to a good ol' pmag. I'd also like to see you guys make more ODG furniture. You hardly ever see ODG furniture in stores even from companies who make it in areas where it would be effective which I always thought was weird. I guess people just want FDE?
Add HK and FN in there. Love my HKs but man mags are insanely expensive. Then again that HK quality and dependability is top tier and they actually make their own mags in house. I believe Glock is the only other manufacturer that makes their own mags in house. Still, affordable AMAGs for range, training would be great.

The thing with HK mags is they are really quite expensive if I'm not mistaken although I suppose that could be said about anything HK. I was actually looking at a VP9 match the other day and while it was quite ergonomic I didn't see anything about it that made me feel like it would offer a competitive advantage over my Canik Rival although the Rival is an exceptional pistol that is shockingly affordable considering the quality of it. I'd still like to get an HK some day. I have always liked the P30 and could see myself getting one of the LTT versions of it. Instead of the VP9 I bought another Canik, this one a mete sft but it was bought as a project gun. It's gonna be my first pistol with a comp on it. I already did a trigger job(just swapped out the stock shoe for a better one). It's gonna be fun. I just wish mags were easier to come by at common big box stores like Cabela's.
I'd be surprised if they don't go ahead and do 2011 mags cuz those are so incredibly hot right now and nobody really has a ubiquitous, quality, affordable product yet. Much like the position P320 magazines were in, but moreso because 2011s are so boutique and expensive. Mu brother worked for magpul for a few years. He would bring home factory "trash" mags, mags that weren't up to Magpuls standards. I literally couldnt tell what was wrong with them, and he would show me a microscopic imperfection that made them throw it away. Their standard for quality is excellent. I run mainly magpuls and troy battle mags and have never once had a mag related issue. Great product at a killer price

The only PMAGs I've ever used that didnt work were AK-74 magazines. Didn't fit correctly. Magpul honored the warranty though and allowed me to exchange. Great company and outside of the AK74 great mags.
Whenever a shooter had a problem will their AR-15 not working right with a Pmag, my friend loaned them an HK Maritime magazine and their rifle worked flawlessly. HK makes the best AR magazine in the world bar none. About $80

Do you plan on offering just your springs for SIG mags? One of mine (21-rounder) has recently stopped feeding properly when loaded completely full; might be a spring issue?

If that Tmag ends up as good as the pmag, im definitely gonna slowly transition over to them from lancer awm's. Nothing is wrong with them really but they get a little sluggish with steel case ammo and a very dirty gun due to poor lubricity between the steel feed lips and aluminum casings combined with alot of carbon build up
Not throwing shade, but genuinely curious how the Steyr AUG had translucent poly mags since the 70s which are highly regarded but Magpul wasnt able to replicate that until almost 50 years later. Im sure Steyr doesnt have magic fairy dust so why were they the only game in town with a good translucent poly mag until now?
Going through fighting pistol class the Glock magpul mags were very unreliable. This was the case for several other people in the class who had the same consensus from a previous class. Used my factory mags and finished the class with those. Just some feed back from someone who used them for something other than plinking at the range.
My Magpul 40rd AR mag fell out of my pouch and got ran over by my friend's dually truck on a gravel hill Other than minor scuffing, it's perfectly fine. No other mag could do that. Magpul all day, everyday.
I have gen 2 mags that I had to sand the Hell out of to get it to fit in any of my AR's they were the 20 rnd mags but never had that with the 30 rnd mags

I would be extra down for a Magpul 2011 mag. I wouldn't even mind if they had to reduce capacity to make up for being made out of polymer

The 35 round magpul scorpion mag is the best one I've used, crying shame they don't have a version for the scorpion 3+

My AR had nothing but issues with GI mags had to load them to 20-25 instead of full. My gen 2-3 p mags allow the gun to run flawlessly.

Magwell designed around polymer mag instead of polymer mag adapted for magwell designed for metal mag.

I have gen 2 mags that I had to sand the Hell out of to get it to fit in any of my AR's they were the 20 rnd mags but never had that with the 30 rnd mags
You mustve gotten a bad batch or something because ive never encountered that problem
