Michel Delacroix ( Michel of the Cross.. Michel De la kr waw..) is indeed a french naïf style ,however not so known in France. I bought a few posters in America at some already framed pictures stores back in the 80s.His work reminded me of Paris my hometown . Sadly,he was never famous in Europe , but appreciated by the Americans. I love your recent find of the Manèges , merry-go-rounds in 1900 s Paris. Enjoy!
I absolutely love your library living room! I also love color (kitchen is white, nacho cheese orange and vibrant red, dining room is dark blood red, living room is copper, nursery is bright yellow, master room is plum and other kid room is bright blue and it is a rental!) I also love thrifting and finding beautiful artwork, books, and furniture - my kids love shopping there too!!!

A polyptych or (a 4 panel quadriptych panels or tetraptych)is a work of art that is the term for all multi-panel works - divided into four sections or more, and often displayed with small spaces between each print! I believe the most common one that I've seen is a triptych - three carved (or painted)panels that are hinged together and can be folded shut or displayed open. I think when you find something you love- its art and it doesn't matter as long as its pleasing to your eye and works in your environment. You're SO creative- always go with your gut. :-) xx

I really admire how you just get on and do things. I know things seem more spontaneous on camera and you clearly do have a background vision that builds gradually and results in the activities we get to witness, but you are so much more productive than most people and I really admire that. And by productive I don’t just mean the number of tasks you complete each day but also the more unassuming but seriously valuable things in life that you constantly tackle. I think it’s great for your children to see that adulthood isn’t solely about parenting, it’s so valuable for them to see you doing things or steering life in a direction that keeps you fulfilled, when they become parents they won’t forget their individual worth and will be balanced and happy parents. They are receiving a great lesson in how to work towards their goals, hat off to you both, such a great team and thank you for the inspiration!

I love that colour! That's the kind of room that people gravitate to, just to sit and chill a while. Congratulations on the signed print Megan, your face lit up when you told us about it and anything that sparks that kind of joy needs a place of honour. I'm an oddbod, in that, I tend to like the same colours no matter how many times I redecorate but I always love and enjoy seeing other peoples houses. I've lost count of the times I've seen you start a project and thinking I wasn't keen on the colours, only to fall in love by the time you're finished lol.
You paint like me. I set out to try to trim all along the baseboard, but then I stand up and paint til I can reach, back to the baseboard, and so on. Gave me a smile. Glad you're doing things to stay happy and busy. God bless.

Your room looks beautiful! I had to chuckle at the painting over the desk. We had a similar painting (print) when I was a kid. I believe it was called "The Red Cavalier". My brother hated it because the cavalier's eyes seemed to follow you around the room wherever you walked. It was comical, but it creeped my brother and some of my friends out!

Whoa you have such an artistic eye. The only other thing I would do is change the gold frame or double frame it with a slightly distressed surrounding frame.
Not to sound mean, I know you said that you're going to repaint the walls in that room when you move out, but did you even bother to get the landlord's permission to paint the walls in your rental house to begin with?
