Very nice video I still love watching the original Thomas and friends model series with both Ringo and the late Michel Angels. I want to a day out with Thomas event at the east lancashire railway last year and hope to visit the watercress line in the future☺️

That tank engine bears a somewhat close resemblance to Thomas. Not the best resemblance but a better performer than the E2s, because oh boy did the E2s suck.

Hi laser, great video as always and I'd like to add that yesterday I was helping out with some construction stuff with my dad right next to the level crossing at Pickering Station on the N.Y.M.R and I saw SO many trains go by I even went on to the platform to see one of the engines (an S15) and got a few cool vids which I uploaded onto my channel, have a nice day Oliver and I can't wait for more uploads

That tank engine is near spot on. With the tanks over the wheel thing (forgive me but I forgot what that part was called), the sloped front buffer beam and the rear which is not sloped. The 6 small drive wheels, the short, stumpy funnel, the short, stumpy dome, and the short boiler. What kind of tank engine is that? I don't know much about the UK's locomotives

Thomas was based off a London Brighton & South Coast Railway (LB&SCR) E2 class tank engine. All E2 tank engines were scrapped in the 1950s with no survivors. From my research, the Watercress Line modified a Hunslet & Austerity industrial tank engine to look like an E2, while still being able to fire it up and operate it. That's a feat of engineering to basically turn a tank engine from one body design to another and still have it work
