For some reason I love lower grade early Comic Books, there’s something about showing the age that I love.
Exactly. I think the same thing about old guitars. They lived a life prior to me owning them. It’s awesome to think “who owned this before me”

Great books Alex. That Superman 15 looks much better than a 2.5. Those Superman war covers are classic. I think I am going to start the hunt for a few. Action 63 is classic. I want that book. 👍
I feel your pain I'm a run collector and getting older Batman is a tall order. even the low grade early ones are 1,000 easy. I've got 5,8,10, but issue 1 alone is steadily climbing out of reach. Nice pick ups.

Thanks so much my friend. Yeah that number 3 really is the cornerstone of that collection for me. I’d like to knock out a 2, but that is going to be tough.
Maybe it was the toke I just took or is it funny how Superman is ready to punch individual pilots when he could just fly instantly to the Reischtag, or Hitler Bunker and "punch" the furor. Sometimes moving small moons, and other times socking it out with the enemies grunts.. that's our golden age suppy!
It is curious how in the comics these superheroes didn’t just stop the war with a few punches. Crazy times and very heroic men and women back then for sure.

I love those early Superman books, Maybe someday post pandemic we'll all be able to go to convention back issue shopping again.
