Great video and a very nice collection! We all seem to have a space issue. I had one cabinet full prior to Covid. Then I cleaned out a second for my whiskey as my Covid project and now it’s full too. Too funny! Here is to figuring out the space dilemma!

I'm all over the map, trying to find the right combos. And the quick evaluation of the bottles. Yeah, I think we've all paid to much for something so bad...
Yeah, I started on my iPhone 11 Pro, and then upgraded to a sure mic with the phone, then upgraded more with the blue yeti, then added a proper camera. The camera is overboard, but none of the point and clic cameras created the frame size needed for my cramped room. I have a 10-18mm lense set to 10mm to give me the frame needed
@@WhiskeyRow Appreciate the info. Two GoPro's, a Panasonic VX870 and a Nikon 5300, Rode mic's and wife's Yeti.. ugh. and still trying to find the right mix. May have to try Nikon on wide angle again. Cheers
@@WhiskeyRow I think you’ve inspired us all to up our whiskey display game. I only have about 10 bottles currently, but after your video, I’m trying to figure out how to get some black piping shelves in my hobby room right now!
Nice collection you have there! It's always fun to check out other peoples' collections and bar spaces. My setup is even quite a bit more meager than yours but until I get my own house with a basement, the mini bar and one shelf will have to suffice for now. Cheers!
I would be proud of that collection myself buddy nice work. Been building a collection myself it's now up to 300 bottles so I understand the dedication cause I also have kids that have they're eyes fixed on me, must teach them right.. Don't have all those impossible to get bottles like other channels but don't laugh its all paid for!!! Love your content and you sir have a lot to be proud of... 🥃🥃🥃 keep up the fine work.
Great video and set-up! I'm glad you have some of the VA whiskey's! I'm a big fan of Ragged Branch, signature double-oak. I have their special, David Pickerell tribute bottle from barrell #1 (2010).
Great speakeasy! Thanks for sharing. Never thought of alphabetizing them by type. I usually leave may "dailies" in my pantry and the better stuff in my home office closet.
Very cool. Well done special whiskey cellar and amazing collection . One might go in there and never come out! That said, it is noted that the integrity of whiskey diminishes after a bottle is open a couple years. New unopened bottles can last a decade without issue but once opened it really should be finished in less than a couple years before the profile starts to get compromised. No way to consume all that in a couple years or less! Personally, I don’t like to have bottles open and unfinished super long. Amazing collection just the same.... thanks for sharing.
Thanks and I hear the concern. I share it, but it is part of doing the videos. I have to open new and keep the content coming. Nothing on the shelves has been open for more than a year at this point, but that will change this fall. Once things cross over maybe a year and a half I'll probably put them into sample bottles and send them to viewers or something... if I don't just drink them first
@@WhiskeyRow Totally. Its a great problem to have with such an amazing collection as you have. And frankly, the profile impact may be minimal or not even very discernible. I just have read that a few different places. I only have about 15-20 open bottles at any one time so getting through them in 2 years or less is managable. Keep the content coming!
We have a locked cabinet where I keep my opened and soon to be opened stuff; and a closet with shelves for everything else! I’d love a speak easy type space.
Whatever you have is more than you had before... you have my mind racing on how I may redesign my recording studio as a “Speakeasy”.... your man cave is your man cave👍🏽🥃🇰🇳🇻🇮. BTW, I always wonder how Whiskey Tubers get through so much whiskey? I drink a 40 - 50ml flight (daily serving size) every few days and exchange with my buddies however I haven’t gotten through many bottles; I’ve created three infinity bottles (Irish, American, Mix) and still only been through less than five bottles.
I haven't finished off very many bottles. I am constantly adding and talking about different stuff even my daily bottles go slow since I'm trying new things. Use what space you have and be proud of your efforts lol

Very nice collection. That Wilderness Trail Rye is delicious. I would also add a Wilderness Trail Wheated Bourbon (Yellow Label). Now that you are getting into scotch, The Macallan 18, Highland Park 12, Balvenie Double Wood, Glendronach 18, Aberlour a'bunadh, The Classic Laddie, and Bunnahabhain are a few good ones to add. Scotch is a very deep rabbit hole ...cheers!!

I will say, I've spotted a rather interesting thing with American whisky channels. They often talk about their collections and locking it away from their children. Now, I understand not wanting your kids to drink all your expensive whisky. I also understand wanting to have a secure space for what is basically a financial investment. However, as a brit, the really specific "keeping it locked up and away from our kids" is a little odd to me. I grew up with whisky, wine, beer etc easily accessible and visible. Heck, I definitely had some when I shouldn't have. But generally it wasn't a thing. It wasn't mine so wasn't an issue. Maybe that's an American thing? Is this attitude down to the way the USA views alcohol thanks to prohibition and the current drinking age? like I know drinking in America is a little different to Europe and even Britain. So could that be it? just curious.
@@erik0073 yeah I guess the laws being so different play a large role also. Our drinking laws are very relaxed and are focused mainly on selling etc. Although I guess it being more accessible makes us less likely to bother stealing it from our parents, so less likely to need to lock it away. Who knows. It’s just interesting to me. I mean, legally we don’t really have a drinking age in the traditional sense. We have a few ages and they vary based on situation, like at home on private property it’s 5 years old. It’s 16 to have a beer, cider or wine with a meal in a pub/restaurant with parents/guardians. Or 18 to purchase. So our exposure tends to be more open. So the idea or needing to lock you’re collection away from kids is strange to someone with my background. But I get it.
