I liked the bit where you started on the right side and said you were doing the strokes the other way and you said “ I’m going the other way, why? I here you say” and I answered “ why?” and you said “ I dunno”. Made me laugh out loud and there wasn’t anyone else in the room. Michael, I am thoroughly enjoying your videos and im-patiently waiting for your course to start. How close is it or do you have a start date at this time? I have been trying to repaeat your finish on trees but am not having much success. Thus - my impatience for your course. Thanks again for providing such a valuable learning experience and showing how a skill can be developed.
Michael, just about the time I thought of running out of new techniques....you come along. I bought some new " Rosemary & Co." brushes and am going to try your method. I am partial and prone to realism so my enthusiasm will carry me through any self made blunders. I am self taught and correct easily. Without painting, I would go nuts, so this is a freshening just when I thought I tried everything.. I`m 91 so whatever is left is enjoyed. Many thanks.....P.S. " have you done anything like this with Pastel?"

Which paint brushes do u use? Lovely painting
Wonderful demo as usual. Was wondering how you cope with situation of the sky exposure being different from that reflected in the water , something that's quite common in reference photos. This often results in clouds not seen in the sky but being reflected in the water. Does it matter or can you compensate for this?

Just got back from the Jones-Terwilliger Gallery in Palm Desert. Saw many of your paintings and also your fathers! work. Very nice work and I'm greatly impressed! They look even nicer with frames and a coat of varnish! What is your choice of varnishes and what is your preferred way of applying it?

Could the lighting have been the reason you changed the direction of your little j's in the reflection?
Are your brushes good for using acrylics also? And I am Curious why there's a badger fan brush in the set and how do you incorporate that in your technique? Thanks

Michael, may I ask 3 questions please? Do you allow the blocking in stages to dry before you add the stippling and fan brush dabs to the trees? When you are making a glaze how much oil paint to Liquin do you use? And do you add Liquin to every colour you mix? Thank you very much.

The folk are quite strict there! Their criteria is you’ll have had to have been a member of my school at some point.

Its just amazing, but I just dont see the point painting it exactly as it is...
I would put there something aditional to make it more interesting... not interesting... it is beautiful enough, but just something to catch the heart, I dont know... its just a my feeling... I dont want to disturbe your unique style...
