Hi. At the beginning I had a ruptured gastrocnemius (sp) while doing squats training (under supervision, go figure). All the bruising and inflammation clogged the lymph nodes behind the knee and on the calf. My right leg was awfully swollen. It did not respond to physical therapy or medication. I was like that for months. The Doppler did not show clots fortunately. Finally my Internal Medicine dr said he wanted to try cortisone injections. It only took one for my leg to go back to normal.

Is there anyway I can ask for ur opinion on this inflammation I’m getting because in past was on blood thinning meds for 6 months was told had mini stroke.the suspected a blood clot passed through heart and up to brain. I thought my heart was whole but on test bubbles past from left to right . I have EPD and anxiety and depression. But my legs 2 years ago was same had blood thinning injections what I had to inject tummy 1 week higher 2nd week smaller dose for that week. I give up trying to contact rheumatologist my dad has lupus I’ve not seen my consultant in person not once in 3 years I’ve got these pictures even sent some to pals. It was arranged in feb March this year for full blood-test took about 7-8 tubes was told once results come back he will call me go over results and diagnosis.. you know still haven’t heard thing the pain is bad and to point look badly bruised. Just seems because mental health I get thobbed of all time. I’ve got no one in my corner to help me get answers I’m not one of those that will chance things up and it’s getting me down. Sounds dramatic but I feel I’m dying very slowly inside . So if anyone can help even to those who have had or been diagnosed etc any advice or even for someone to look and see if ur legs or body went like it . Would be so very very grateful god bless thank you for reading

I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism two weeks ago. I noticed my calf in my left leg was very sore and swollen, red and hot in one spot. Also I was getting shortness of breath. I praise God that I went to the doctor about it but couldn't get anything done about until the next morning. The lovely doctor at the hospital ordered a CT scan of my lungs because they couldn't do the ultradsound on my leg as they were closed, which turned out for the best as the scan showed up the clots in my lungs. I have had a few serious clots in the same leg, but it has never gone to my lungs, so that is a great concern for sure! 👑🕊💖

This is what I do, I don't want to get a blood clot. I blend the whole bub of garlic and I add water, once I'm done blending it, I add a whole lot of honey. I don't want anything to clog, I'm trying so this doesn't happen. I drink this down on an empathy stomach, before I take anything else. I don't want diabetes or high blood pressure or my arteries to clog. I'm so trying to prevent this. I take a lot of natural things to prevent this. I tried to eat healthy.

You may still develop Thrombotic Syndrome. I did 15 years later and the only clue was a small venous ulcer on the inside of my left ankle. It transpired that I had hidden varicose veins, but I have had them treated at a specialist vein clinic in London in 2018 and have looked back since.
Incidentally I was then and still am an extremely fit, slim runner (I run 4 miles most days) who eats very healthily.

I wish I had this information when I had Covid for a month in 3-20 to 4-20. We were told " Unless you can't breathe, don't come to the hospital". I had just lost my husband in 12-19 after finding out he had end stage liver cancer. He died within 1 week. I had these clots form a few days after a low grade fever. They were in my legs, and on my torso, neck and arms. 9 at a time. It was very painful. It was a wonder I survived given what we know now.

He’s been on warfarin ever since . His has AF and we then found out his nanny had it found at 55. He only got believed after lots of trips to critical care and collapsing in work . His heart stopped as the clot travelled . He had right sided heart failure. In resuscitation fighting for his life . He’s 35 now but has warfarin for life now . He did die in the ambulance but was saved by cpr .

That was great!!! I live in Philly and I just got diagnosed with blood clots behind my knee (I was initially misdiagnosed, so I'm very fortunate). I'll be on blood thinners for 6 months. The part about tremendous pain is exactly right. The worse pain I've ever experienced. I literally could not put ANY weight. I discovered the wonders of morphine! It helped a lot with pain, but since I realized the addictive nature of it, I quickly moved to Tylenol after the second dosage. Again, great info....thank you!

    • @carlosaguirre4428

Be very wary about being taken off blood thinners after having blood clots. My Vascular specialist took me off Xarelto after 12 months of being free from blood clots all over my lower leg...3 months later I had blood clots on other leg as well in pelvic region...during procedure to remove clots I suffered major stroke plus several "minor" strokes. I "coded" for almost 40 minutes, almost dying, but survived with severe disability to right side of body. Several months of PT and I can walk again but my hand is not all there...very hard to write, tie my shoes much less use computer mouse so I remain disabled and, unfortunately, retired. Also, right side of mouth gives me speech problems and I am easily fatigued with mental fogginess. Doctors are reluctant to talk about effect the Phizer vaccines had with my issues but my Hematologist advised me to avoid ALL vaccines, including flu, shingles, etc.

The same happened to me.....at the age of 34 after doing tests, i was diagnosed with a hereditary disease called Protein C & S deficiency.....it's normally dormant until you reach the age of 30+...my nephew died of it and my Father's sister also after she gave birth to one of her children. She was 30 years old. Specialists advised that the whole family be tested....I was on warfarin for 35 years and am now on Ixarola, which means that I do not have to have my INR done monthly....please keep us informed♡

I was 52 in'12, and I had a pulmonary embolism and that hurt like heck, they gave me Dilaudid. As soon as I was in the hospital they gave me lortab. That wasn't doing much, they gave me more Dilauid that night, I spent a week in the hospital. I also had a superficial blood clot in leg - the leg looked like it got beaten severely (Many colors) and my in calf. DVT. They can't find out why my blood wants to clot. I can't wear compressions socks - too tight. Went from 1mg warfarin to 11mg warfarin a day. Now my calves are having like hot flashes, I will see a vascular specialist in Jan. Hamburg, NY

In April I got a dvt (femoral). This was after having pertussis and a long journey. 2 treatments plus booster for you know what following which I had hypertension. Hypotension all my life previously. Because I had a previous dvt following a knee injection the the angio doc was convinced I have a malignancy. There followed a ct scan reporting a thyroid nodule and stomach cardia thickening and gastric varices. Had to wait for gastroscopy and colonoscopy, which were completely normal. No cardia thickening or gastric varices. Now awaiting results of fnb of thyroid. Soooo. Loads of mental anguish and no symptoms of anything at all. On Apixaban 2.5. Mgs bd. All very depressing.
Anyway, found this video to be excellent. Thanks. I am in 🇫🇷

They never wanted to recognize that it was due to the covid vaccine. How did they determined that it was due to the covid vaccine in your younger brother case? I would like so much to not take medication but it is the standard protocole if no valid cause for a dvt is determined.

The blood clot specialist although could not find any logical explanation for my blood clot yet it was a definit no when I asked if it could have been due to the covid vaccine. No explanations on why this is ruled out as a possible cause. May be there is an embargo on placing any blame on the covid vaccine. I am not a complotist yet some time I wonder how many unexplained problems will start popping up among people that have been vaccinated. In any case thank you for sharing and have a nice day.

I have DVT in left leg. Seen 3 internists after Dimer test and ultrasound. Pharmacist made initial diagnosis. Confirmed by ER. I take Apixaban dbid. Leg swelling has decreased considerably. I walk alot in my job about 27k steps per day. So I went for follow up Dimer test. They said clot was gone. Follow up ultrasound disagreed and confirmed that there was a residual clot. So don't rely on just Dimer bloodwork. Get the ultrasound.

You go straight to a vascular surgeon to be sure if it's a blood clot or not. As someone who os high risk from multiple blood clots, my doctor said go straight to the hospital because time is against you in confirming if it's a dvt or not.

Started with a lingering pain in my lower right calf that slowly started getting closer to the knee over at least a month. Went to the emergency care at the hospital and had ultrasound revealing a superficial clot in varicose vein. I'm currently on blood thinner and the pain is actually a bit worse after the first few days from the hospital visit. To my knowledge I've never had a blood clot before, doesn't run in the family but I am overweight at 50 years of age. Are the varicose veins more susceptible to clotting?
