the 6.3 was good on paper and in Real life. Its a very succesful engine in endurance racing , and had been used for like 15 years in mercedes GTLM class entry's. Preferring the 5.5PDSC over the 6.3 is fine but don't discredit the M156

Ive an 05 had for a full year , only problem is pot holes , my rim cracked the other day , after rolling off a curb . I have only changed the oil , and replaced an alternator 265$ Bosch n two hrs to take out and replace , best car Ive ever owned , and Ive owned M5 bmw , not as luxurious , Silver , black double sun roofs , all options possible window sticker was 91000 $.
Great review featuring all types of driving like casual and more aggressive, sound was captured clearly too both with open and closed windows. Moments after watching this video I Saw pictures of this car totalled on Facebook with huge damage and felt sad for it wonder if you have any more info about what happened to that car.

The last of the true AMG, IMO. The 6.3 was great on paper but I’ll take the 55 all day any day.

The E55 engine was great. I actually think it's better and more tunable then it's predecessor.
The E55 and SL55 AMG were the last of the greats. I think two of the greatest enthusiast cars ever created. Reliable and durable too.
I own one just like this one and have had it almost 5 years and driven all over the country in it. Great cars!
