    Knowing the cars that Parker has driven and owned, and hearing him say that the TLX Type-S was pretty good, lets me know that a lot of Reviewers aren’t being realistic when it comes to this car. This isn’t a Type-R, it’s supposed to be a reliable, sporty, and comfortable daily commuter.

      That's exactly it. I have the 4 cylinder A-Spec version of this car and it's a fantastic A to B vehicle that isn't a snooze to drive. It's a well-rounded car and long-term, I think it'll age well.

      @chhoyla 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The biggest critiques of this car isn’t performance, it’s everything else. Abysmal interior space, wonky infotainment, and horrible fuel economy. Most of all, you’re not getting any better performance for those sacrifices so as a whole package, there’s a lot of downsides to swallow compared to an m340i which is what? High maintenance costs? It’s nothing people don’t already know

    • @chigasaki06
      @chigasaki06 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@chhoyla You'll spend WAY more for a comparable 340i. In my opinion, interior space is fine...its ya'll are just too damn big, lol. Fuel economy can definitely improve, and I personally hate the push-bottom gear selector...that should not be a feature in any car, much less a sporty one. If Honda/Acura adopts the interior similar to the current Accord but more upscale, add 30 more hp, offer adaptive suspension, it would be more compelling.

    • @chhoyla
      @chhoyla 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@chigasaki06 Way more? Look at the segment you’re in buddy, it’s not price sensitive. People will spend more if there’s real value to be had. If a TLX is barely affordable, it may be wise to get just an Accord. Interior space isn’t about driver space, it’s cargo space, so not sure how anyone can be too big for that.

      I've heard/watched/read nothing but pretty positive reviews of the Type-S so not sure what you're referring to of other reviewers not being realistic. The most negative one I watched recently was from someone (don't even remember his name or channel) that was critical of the steering, like annoying critical repeatedly (of course his car didn't have the optional summer tires/copper wheel option). He also made a comment about the acceleration not being on par with an M3 or M5...well, duh. It's not meant to be.
