Is terminal 2 on the side of the flughafen that Rhein-Main AB was?

I really don't know. Rhein Main closed in 2005, and I hadn't been out there since the 90s.

No, Rhein-Main AB is on the opposite side, where they built Terminal 3

What is the best way and fastest way to get to the long distance train station from Terminal 2? I booked an ICE train to Mannheim and it only gives me about 2 hours to get off the plane etc. So I'm hoping that is enough time to make it.

Hi, I just saw this. You need to take the free shuttle bus from Terminal 2 over to Terminal 1. There is a video for this.

@@frankfurtonfoottours2361 I just returned from Frankfurt the other day and it is a really simple and quite fast which I wasn't expecting it to be. I had to take the ICE to Mannheim which was the fastest way to go.

How long does it take on average from Z gates to the long distance train platform, including passport control and baggage claim?

In total, I would think anywhere from 45min. +. but it depends on the lines at passport control and how long it takes for luggage to be unloaded. It is why I try and fly with a small carry-on instead, so I don't have to pick up luggage.
