I believe this was from the Tom Jones Variety show back in the 70's.

Great reaction to these two legends. Tom is a genre all by himself. He sings rock/pop/ soul, R &B, ballads, country. There’s not much he can’t sing. He had some fantastic duets on his show, such as Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Cher, and many more.

Bro I’m exactly like you, I hear ya, i was born in ‘71 so my most formative music years were the 80’s yet if you were to look through my iPhone music library I’d be pretty impossible to box in given the absolute diversity of tunes I carry with me, you’ll find jazz, rock, metal, male and female ballads, pure pop, you’ll find the likes of Sinatra, Dean Martin. Tony Bennett influences carried over from my Dad’s teen and 20’s. You’ll find classical music Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, 80’s electronic and synths based tracks, all sorts, ya just can’t tie me down, just like you, if I like it, I like it, period!! And there are some who are strictly in one lane and they won’t cross which is criminal, they don’t know what they’re missing! Man has been making music from the very first steps he took on the planet! I said that 80’s was really formative for me and I was never a huge fan of Wham! who were a very teen pop act, I liked a couple of their songs but just about when George Michael ws about to leave Wham! and start a solo career a record executive had the genius idea to have George and Aretha Franklin duet together on the monster hit I Knew You Were Waiting, genius! And shortly after George released his debut solo album Faith, that li’l ol’ album spawned numerous worldwide hits and went on to shift 26 million copies (10 million in USA alone), George Michael was a seriously gifted songwriter, singer, musician and producer!! Don’t ever give up expanding your music library bro, there are abundant riches out there for you still to be mined!! 😊 Much love to you and yours from a cousin from across the pond 😊🇬🇧🇺🇸

Tom started out in the music biz in 1965 and hid first record was It’s Not Unusual which is CARLTON’S Dance in Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. Such is Tom’s versitality he can sing all genres. He is 81/82 now and still tours and has been a judge/mentor on The Voice UK since it began. He was great friends with Elvis Presley after Elvis attended one of Tom’s concerts in Las Vegas, Elvis went back stage to meet him and asked Tom “how do you sing like that?”!
Tom has his own TV series in the USA where as you can see here, he’d have guest singers.
To get more of this bro search Tom Jones and Stevie Wonder Medley (Stevie was just 19 at the time), and also search Tom Jones and Wilson Pickett!
