Great video. I do most of the wrenching and mods on my vehicles but am not an expert. This video gave me the info to know that I can definitely do it myself. I even have a rivnut tool that attaches to my cordless drill that I have been wanting to try out.
part number for those wheel well liner clips? Had a shop install my tank, but the vent filter is up inside that little cavity which makes it very difficult to replace the filter.
Figured her out. Clip slides up. But the actual release is the two buttons at the side that get exposed. Squeeze and it releases. Standard vacuum type fitting under the brown clip.
Nice video, lots of work to install one. Have you done any of their 40 gallon tanks. I'm thinking of putting the 40 gallon tank in my 2021. I noticed on Ed Martins channel they welded a 1/4" skid plate to the bottom of it. I think Bud Built was talking about building a 1/4" skid plate for the 40 gallon tanks. Also Ed Martin has an optional heavy duty fuel pump and fuel line upgrade when they do these tanks. I was going to try and figure out what they are using.
I haven't done the 40 gallon. I honestly don't see the point of any of the long range/ aux tanks here in the US. You're never "that far from civilization" here. Especially with the newer trucks with tighter emissions monitoring, it's just added things to go wrong.
It's a Matco hose clamp driver. There's a lock on the end that grips the hose clamp so it doesn't spin away while tightening. The lever turns the lock on and off.
So you lose your spare? What do you suggest about being able to keep a spare with you? Other than keeping it in the very limited space inside the vehicle
So, 🤔🤔 we are just Going to OVERLOOK at the Fact that there was something supernatural, that threw a yellow glove off his right side to the floor. nobody caught that just me ok, Let move on.🤷♂️🤷♂️
Thank you! I’ve been scratching my head on where to mount the fuel pump.

This is a great video. Thank you for putting it together. It really details the entire process from start to finish. Kudos!
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing all your efforts here!
Thanks Ryan. Great prep. - Bart
Man I want one of these in my 2018 LC but 2 6 gallon jugs seems a bit easier LOL, Thank you for the detailed video. Well done sir
Thank you. Very good detailed video !
Well that's one project I won't be doing , thanks.
It's not really that bad of an install. It's just awkward lifting the tank in to place.

I don't know the part number. I just call my local dealer.
Any trick to the stock brown clip that holds the 1/4 breather from the filler neck? Unclip upwards and pull? Trying not to break anything.

I just want to know what that screwdriver handle with a flip switch on it was?!

How much to install this tank on an 2011 lx570
It depends on the shop and local labor rates. Everyone is going to be a bit different.

You don't lose the spare on that size tank. That was why he was reinstalling the tire lift winch at the end of the video.
@@robhartshorn6823 TY.
Not sure how I missed that.
Nice wish I had asked you to install a LRA tank in my truck, oh wait.............
I told you we'd put your LRA tank in. We've done a couple of them on 80s.
This tank available for 2019 lx570 ?
I don't know. You'd have to check with Long Range Automotive.
@@OTRAMM thank you for reply ,this is gasoline or diesel 200 series ?
What's the approximate install time?
If I remember right it was around 9-10 hours.
