    I agree with everything you said! I just bought a box and after I put them on, I logged in and bought 10 boxes online. lol They are definitely more dainty. The coffin shape is bomb. The best part is the glue strip on the inside is alot less than impress. This keeps them from moving so much after you adhere. With impress, even when I use glue it still moves because of that thick gel strip.

      Good point! I hadn't consciously noticed the glue thickness but you're right.

      Really? I got the medium french magic press from Sally's, and they were so thick! And the shape of the thumb nails were so flat and rigid that I had lifting within 36 hours.
      I plan to try some medium Kiss impress today, and can only say from sizing in advance is that they seem to have orientations? So it was hard to figure out which nails went on which hand. The sizes I needed seem to be the less popular one (aka there were more of the numbers I didn't need then the ones I did need).

      Maybe the ImPress nail sizing will work better for you! They definitely fit differently. Let us know! Good luck!

    That shape is so cute on your nails. I had picked up a bunch of dashing diva press ons but I wasn’t wearing them. Then I came across your glue tip and tried that. I love them! Dashing Diva has a bunch on their website.

    I buy Dashing Diva nails in Australia online, but also love Impress nails, although we don't have many colours here.You look like Lynda Carter, the Wonderwoman actress.Thanks for the great vlog.

      I perused the Dashing Diva website the other day and was impressed with the selection. Thank you!

    Like you, I was a shorter nails fan. I would have never imagined that I would like longer nails until I used the dashing diva press on. They're so feminine and dainty, yet almost as durable as the kiss acrylic glue on sets. They don't last as long as glue on, but they can last a pretty long time! They are my absolute new favorite. I bought many many sets online from the dashing diva website.

    I've found press on nails on Ebay recently. You can find both Dashing Diva and the Kiss Impress nails for sale on there.

    I'll bet you've found other sources for Dashing Diva nails, but i find a super selection on their website! Their prices are like at Sally's or Ulta, and it's easy to find the categories of lengths and styles you want. I just tried the Dashing Diva Nailbliss Salon Gel Nails. They have no adhesive stripe and provide glue. The sizes ran large, are very 'rigid', and had the tiny number printed on the nail that i couldn't hardly read. I used the glue they provided on one hand, and the Kiss glue you recommend on the other. They're just all popping off on both hands...i'll never use these again. LOL.

      Their website is superior! I've never tried their nail bliss salon nails though, that's crazy!

    Have you tried the dashing diva fast bond nail glue?? I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews on it. I’m curious how it holds up against the power flex glue

    Do you find the Dashing Diva run smaller than the Kiss Impress?

  • @fa3ryg1rl1
    @fa3ryg1rl1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I wish I could have gotten the Dashing Diva nails to stay on. I can wear Impress for two weeks with the power flex glue. I buff my nails, dehydrate/clean, use a protein bond, power flex glue, and use the short ones, and I get four days with Dashing Diva before they all lift. Impress I haven't had that trouble with.

      Dang! At least the trusty imPress nails never disappoint.

      @MiaHasDiggles Dashing Diva has a base coat that is supposed to extend the wear so I'm going to try that! :) Some of their designs are gorgeous and they are small enough for me so I don't have to file them down.

    • @MiaHasDiggles
      @MiaHasDiggles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ooo I'll have to look for that base coat. Thanks for the tip!

      DD is out of their basecoat, but I have had success with OPI's Natural Nails Base Coat under Magic Press.

    Sorry, what is the point of using magic press or impress with glue? Isn't the whole point that the adhesive is pre-applied? If you were using glue, why wouldn't you just buy gel fantasy?

    • @MiaHasDiggles
      @MiaHasDiggles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I haven't had luck with press on alone unfortunately. And even less luck with regular nails that require glue. The powerflex nail glue with a press on gives me up to 2 weeks of wear luckily.

    • @oops3828
      @oops3828 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the adhesive pad on the press on nails gives a better surface to adhere to - it conforms to the shape of the nail due to its give, allowing a direct face to face bond. And the glue creates a stronger bond than the adhesive on pad.
      Meanwhile, just a fake nail wouldn't conform as closely, leaving small bubbles of space between the real and fake nail face to be filled with air or a thicker pocket of glue. The less consistent adhesion leads to a weaker overall bond.

    Apparently they’re a sister brand of impress - which explains why their inserts and diagrams and sizing are so similar! 💅🏼
    DD has shorter sizes overall - their short length doesn’t have an impress equivalent, and the mediums fit like Impress short length, and the Long fits like the Impress medium. Both brands are starting to offer more shapes which is great. I love the DD medium length round options especially. The absolute perfect length for me.
    Definitely love both brands and I’d say the impress ones stay slightly longer (I think the adhesive pad is a tiny bit longer than the ones on DD so more surface area is covered.)
    DD designs are so cute and slightly narrower than Impress, but both brands are great. Gotta get them online though - there is usually a 25-30% off coupon code available so you can save a lot by buying direct on their site.
