  • How to talk about your family :
A lot of people get confused when they talk about they talk about their family members and how they are related to one another.
For example, when you talk about your extended family member, you say 'my father's sister's husband is over for dinner. Well, that means he is your 'paternal uncle'.
In this lesson, Niharika teaches you how different members in your family are related to you differently. She tells you what is an immediate family and an extended family and how you talk about relatives from your mother's side of family as well as our father's side.

    Dear Neharika,
I just had to leave a comment on this video because it holds a special place in my heart. Seven years ago, I stumbled upon this video as a complete beginner in English. Your teaching style and charisma captivated me from the start, and I instantly became fond of both you and the English language.
That day, I made a promise to myself that I would become a fluent English speaker and, ultimately, an English teacher. Today, I can proudly say that my dream has come true, all thanks to you, Neharika. If it weren't for your inspiring video, I wouldn't be where I am today.
Your passion for teaching and your ability to connect with students is truly remarkable. You have not only inspired me but also countless others who have had the privilege of watching your videos. Your dedication to helping learners like me improve their English skills is greatly appreciated.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you, Neharika, for being such an amazing teacher and mentor. Your impact on my life is immeasurable, and I will forever be grateful for the knowledge and inspiration you have shared. Thank you for helping me achieve my goals. You are a true inspiration.
With deepest appreciation, Dinesh from Srilanka

Hi niharika mam, You doing a great job,
I have a question. don't know you gonna reply or not.
my question is. When I get a new word then how to memorize, should I search its meaning in my own language or should I try to memorize its definition that I get from net?

This woman speaks far too fast for an ESL English Teacher. Also, her pronunciation of some words is inaccurate (e.g., nervous - pronounced as "nurwus"). Please SLOW DOWN when you speak to non-native English speaking students.

كيف اكون دقيق في التحدث بمعني.
    اعطيني ترجمة للجمل الاتية.
لقد سافرت عمتي الي القاهرة مع خالتي.
لقد سافر عمي إلي القاهرة مع خالي.
وجود اكثر من معني لكلمة واحدة في الانجليزية يسبب لي ازعاج كثير. كيف اتفادي ذلك.
