I honestly think going with Nadir Servant with Ecclesia does so much more for this deck. Ecclesia's special summon and protection against ED monsters comes up a lot, as well as it having 1500 DEF for Possessed Partnerships. Also searching Punishment of course covers issues of your opponent's combos or just simply summoning a Spellcaster of their own against your Secret Village.
An issue here, is if you do play the time tearing morganite, you can't use her effect to special as it activates in the hand, though morganite gives you two normal summons
I thought this deck was horrible but still bought it because of the YGO drought around that time. Thanks for the video. I forgot the archetype existed.
Charmers are very underappreciated but what's funny is that lately Charmer decks have been topping some OCG locals with a stun build since that's one of the only ways to counter Fire King/Diabellestar. Their spell/trap supports actually do some decent stuff all while your Familiar-Possessed monsters are just vanilla beaters so alot of people can't really do anything against them. I do still want to see some better retrains for the Familiar-Possessed monsters that would have actual effects to use.
You don't summon Garura or Malong, they are typically sent off punishment, as for Ty-phon you summon it with its own summoning condition of your opponent going into the extra deck more than twice in a turn
Crackdown is also the cooler and more nostalgic trap card. Versatility matters not. Style, substance, and rose tinted glasses do 😎 Plus, it really is the superior pick here as mentioned above. Just my 2 cents.

Not super important, but the synergy is there!

Maybe eye of illusion replace crackdown
Crackdown lets you link off the monster you take and provides more permanent removal. Eye of Illusion is more versatile but not as good for removal
