I like playing decks with a lot of Spells and Traps that can do things without relying entirely on setting up a full board. I find that makes it a lot easier to go up against Floodgates than assuming a "1 card combo" will go through every time. Also gives something to do when hand traps from more "standard" lists start interrupting plays. Siding turns every deck into a Floodgate deck Games 2 and 3 anyway so may as well prep ahead of time.
This was the deck I used to get back into the game in 2022 after a 10 year hiatus. I'm hoping Fossil Dyna and Jowgen don't get limited or banned. 7 - 1 is pretty good with this deck as what could be considered a rogue deck. I think if we had 3 Card of Demise in the TCG, I don't think the deck would be considered rogue. Maybe Tier 1.5, just because of that one card. I would play Phantasm Spiral (you did a video where a guy named Jackson Pesch topped in 2019) as my main deck if I could use 3 Card of Demise. It's part of the reason that deck was able to top in the months before the pandemic starting. Golgonda is one of the most unique cards to have ever come out in the entire history of the game. Like Time-Tearing Morganite in a way, but way better!

i enjoy playing faster-paced modern decks as well. my boomer comment was a nod to the prospect of feeling nostalgia from playing at a slower pace and using mirror forces (yeah they're not the OG one but you get what i mean) and solemn judgments etc @@Geo-ok1nw

Only "combo" deck I find interesting is Branded, and that's basically just a Midrange deck that does too much. Combos that focus on setting up backrow like Rescue-ACE, Labrynth, and certain builds of Eldlich and Sky Striker are way more interesting than "coin flip" builds that can't do anything at all if they don't set up to me. The Sinful Spoils package is neat because of tools like Silvera and Rciela but is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE on paper, I didn't have to spend a dime to supplement my builds with that stuff in MD at least.
I gotta thank your channel and the owner of the deck for this. I've built this deck with a bit of change due to OCG banlist. I had fun with it during the big event yesterday. Though my standing is 3 - 4, but the losses is a close games and with a fight.
Just built this deck in Master Duel, with MD ban modifications, and a few extra deck cards subbed out because this deck is expensive in MD, but so far it's been awesome! I'm a yugiboomer who doesn't like meta boards, so i very much enjoy wiping them or preventing them entirely!

I’m going to say the normal that almost every yugioh player will say lol “ I been playing this deck for awhile and been on this “ the fact that somebody like Johnny is running this a gray player with a good personality and a good point of view is now running this and bringing it out there It makes me as a stun player happy and I ain’t mad about it. I run Anti-Meta Stun too but I also use *Dimension Guardian* and *Power of the Guardians* (for protection) and Earth Barrier Statues in my build because as long as you aren't playing against Earth Machine or Traptrix ,which is rarely, then you are good to go. People hate me for using the deck calling me a cancer player but I enjoy the deck very much I may never stop playing the deck as long as *Fossil Dyna* isn't banned. Btw nice deck profile I am glad to see someone performing well at a large event with the deck keep it up *{::>_
Honestly with most stun decks like this you want to go first. If they can't special they can't play. This might have an easy time with some decks going second but not everyone. Game 2 going second is different though

Wouldn’t the trap card ‘Crackdown’ and the monster ‘Vanity’s Fiend’ make this deck even better? Use Crackdown to take your opponents monster and tribute it if you have Vanity’s.
Man I took this deck awhile back ago and I feel like I got cheated out of a win and what was worst the other duelist was extremely toxic and threatened me
synchros are malong and psy-frame omega and the link is tribrigade buchephalus. they are all targets for dogmatika punishment or ultimate slayer. Malong when sent to GY bounce one, omega helps you shuffling things back from GY and banishment and buchephalus is high atk and can send garura to draw 1
I like this guy, this see a cancer players playing with tier 0 cancer decks and just do the best way to deal with those players... do a deck to not ley him play. perfect.

They want to sit down and normal summon and flip traps. They don't wanna dedicate time and effort into the game to learn it.
