Jerry Can (part 2 of 2)

Continuation of part 1 of the Jerry can restoration, I do the paint job to bring my 12$ gas can back to life. Later on after some use ill let you guys know how the paint holds up!

It's sheet metal, gotta use primer first. Just like painting a car.

The paint has held up good so far. The inside of the jerry can was very clean I didn't have to do anything to it.

+Will Dexter thanks! what if i want to change the color of a new jerrycan thats color green or black do i need to strip it off or just prime it or paint it on white first? thanks

+joEpagdeE if I were to do it I would probably paint over as long as there is no rust. If you do paint over you might want to rough up the red paint with some sandpaper.
