At 6:25, do i need to do this if i have already done it before and installed some texture mods? I found more texture mods for the rest of my game and am wanting to install them as well, was wondering if i had to do the entire process again, or if it was ok to just skip to the part at 6:45.
I edited the Coalesced.bin but never played using any mods. So I try a few text mods ... etc. Having an SSD and 1060 card now would like to see how ME3 looks. Note concerning Origin In Game it now say's ... Enable Origin In Game for Mass Effect™ 3 N7 Digital Deluxe Edition. Instead of Disable ... so if you now have to keep it unchecked.
hello! I've been trying to use tpf files on ME3 for.....couple of days now. can i even implement hair tpfs or armor tpfs?i did exactly as in the vid with the exception that my ME3 is repacked by Mr Dj and it's not origin.sorry if im wrong
Hey, I have an issue. I followed your instructions to the letter. But when I got Javik on the ship his armor lost its texture and now its this bright white-blue mesh. Any idea how to fix it? I tried to reinstall the texture mods for him alone, but it didn't work.
DAKNAP Will this tool allow me to edit the player camera completly? Because I can make a mod that will make everybody wanna play this game again but I need the right tool for the job.
I've got a bit of a issue, hope someone can help. I followed everything fine but when the opening cut-scene plays the video part stutters, sometimes stops and has a greenish ting to the color when it stops. Though it seems to do it when there is a lot of movement. At the first dialog choice it looks normal but when they move it starts up again. The audio seems to keep going as normal. In need of some help I am. Thanks.
Eriktavius B Usually thats a telltale of artifacting on the GPU. Does it occur in other games? Are you modded or Unmodded? The first thing is to test unmodded, then reinstall or roll back your GPU driver if they are still there.
DAKNAP What's funny is right after I posted this, I went into the Nvidia inspector and put the ambient occlusion settings back to normal. It worked, I don't know why I thought it might but it did. And thank you for your reply so quick that's nice. By the way your walk-through of modding this is great, keep up the good work. Thanks. P.S. I just have one other thing, the Javik armor...something when wrong there it is all a glowing white. is there a way to correct this without starting over. Thanks.
Eriktavius B Its not very simple unfortunately, you have to find the specific file that was backed up and replace it which would probably remove other textures aswell as the dlc files are more specific. If you go to biogame/dlc and can work out the javik dlc folder you can rename the default.bak file to .sfar to return it to normal.
Hi DAKNAP, TPFTools 2.0 has been stuck at 10% generating hashes for over an hour now. Can I safely close out and retry or have you heard of this issue before?
I have a problem with Texplorer... When I start scanning, it stops at 3010 of 3119... I waited about 10 minutes, but nothing happened... what can I do? I already restartet the scan a few times... but stil the same problem.
ToflixGamer The only thing I can suggest is to try reinstalling the game. Sometimes while it might seem like there ar no issues with your install, it can cause problems with TExplorer.
I am trying to install hair mods, so i am wondering is it possible to add the new hair meshes to the character creator or do I need to manually change my Shepherd's hair style later?
+wingy158 I haven't gone much further than a basic test of the tpfs I had previously found. I'm assuming that during the analyse with Texplorer phase would highlight any new files that don't appear in the original game textures.
+DAKNAP I found out the issue, i didn't have all the dlc installed. Also I came across an issue saying that my dlc wasn't being recognized. i think i forgot the dll files.
Thanks for the tutorial, everything works fine except one minor issue, landscapes and objects in the distance are too much blurry. Is there any fix for this?
Awesome series. Documentary-level quality, clear and easy tutorials.... great job
Really glad you do all this to show these improvements
Nice summary of how to do graphic improvements. I'll be linking people to this video.
You've got great tutorials, but they also have such a depressing undertone.

hey daknap, the process with texplorer doesnt complete it gets stuck on dlc_exp_pack001.... help please..
thank you for your video !
It seems that ME3 explorer doesn't want to install mods for me.it stays 1 out of 1157 mods.I reinstalled the game once and it's the same story.

I have the same problem.
I backed up my save and uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, and reinstalled all the texture mods without Javik's armor.
Thank you for your answer.
The ME3explorer link is dead for the DLL patch for DLC, FYI.
The link seems to work ok for me but i've added an alternative one incase the me3explorer forums eventually go down. Thanks.

+Jared Dawson oop update, installing mods one by one seems to be making process smoother.

Already reinstalling it. I need about 5 hours for it, but... hey, I can use mods! :D
When you say copy the .tpf files to the main directory, do you mean the mass effect 3 main directory?
By the main directory I pretty much meant keeping them all together. They don't need to be in the ME3 folder.
I am trying to install hair mods, so i am wondering is it possible to add the new hair meshes to the character creator or do I need to manually change my Shepherd's hair style later?
Are there issues running me3explorer with Windows 10? Some people have been reporting issues but i don't see any solutuions
+wingy158 Just finished testing on Windows 10 and me3explorer and me3 seemed to work fine.
+DAKNAP thanks. also, is there a fix to having mods not being recognised in the tree? or do I have to search for them manually?

Turn off Blur ....maybe!?
MY me cinema does not have that many files in it.
After patching im getting an error when i play it on origin saying "mass effect 3 invalid licence missing dll binkw32.dll". Anyway to fix this?
+MRENGLISHRULES101 Haven't seen this one before but you might want to try the dll version of the patch instead. Its in the same link.
That's how you make a video guide !
It doesn't end Sheppard
nVIDIA Ambient Occlusion IS broken. Badly.
gotta be honest, the cinematic mod makes me want to cry, its just so god damn ugly, looks like ur playing with sun glasses for the most part.
lol. I really love the cinema mod but I guess some people might hate it.
