I'm a Balinese Hindu, for your information, the Balinese Hindu is really different from the Indian Hindu, because in Bali the practices of worshipphing the God (Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa or Brahman or Acintya) is mostly by Tantric (symbolism), not Mantra like the Indian does and also Balinese Hindu is actually a mixture between the Shivaism, Buddhism and some local beliefs because of that, in the past Balinese Hindu was called Shiva-Buddha religion. So that's why you'll see something that really different that you found in Indian Hindu, for example like we do the Yajna using the animal, even the Balinese used to eat cows. That's because the practice is mostly using Tantric (symbolism), most of Balinese in the past even just know 1 mantra, The Gayatri Mantra and with some added and it's called Tri Sandhya (Three Times Pray). I was shocked to learn that most of the Shinto religion God/Goddess in Japan are in fact Hindu God/Goddess. There is also a video on TH-cam where a Japanese professor explain this in detail. Again Shinto religion is more like a dharma a way of life rather than an organised religion.
It’d be so much better if all ancient dharmic religions existed without any monotheistic authoritarian invasion.
Sadly Egyptian, Babylonian, Inca, Mayan, Aztec, Norsk, Greek religions are extinct. We need to be the protector of our Dharma 🙏🏻
