  • Hey hey hey, welcome to my FIRST Day in the Life Vlog. In this video, I'll take you through a typical Thursday for a Computer Engineering student at the University of Toronto.
Oh ya, you'll also get to see John Cena's cousin and get a tour of the U of T Campus. Comment down below if you see her.
You might be wondering, who is NELSON LEE? I'm a 2nd-year Computer Engineering student at the University of Toronto. Over the past year, I created a startup called Haven that helps reduce sexual assaults and keep people safe. I also serve as the Engineering Director on the UTSU, U of T's Student Government.
Download Haven here: bit.ly/DownloadHaven and get one FREE WEEK of Haven Premium!
If you want to see more videos about University and Engineering, make sure to comment them down below or DM me @nelsonxlee! And LIKE and SUBSCRIBE, it'll help out a lot!

Thanks nelson for this video, i was just thinking of U of T and searched for videos when i saw yours was just released.
Congrats on your app Haven, i fancy myself a bit of web developer.
I’m looking forward to applying U of T through a scholarship i.e the lester b pearson scholarship. Do you think you could do a review on that?

Thanks for these kind of videos. I am in grade 11, trying to get into University of Toronto. I just wanted to know if I can still get in for computer engineering if I didn't do well in grade 9 and 10. I didn't really focus during those years.

Yes you can! Work on those Grade 11 and 12 grades and extracurricular!

Ik I’m asking a lot of questions it’s cuz I applied here and I’m not sure if I should come here or not but how much chemistry do you need for compeng( I know first year is general for engineering so it’s needed) but how much do you need it after first year?

    • @NelsonLeeYT
      @NelsonLeeYT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Not much! Usually First Year classes are very general so you'll do fine ☺️

It was a normal day of classes. Computer Engineering is very heavy in courses, everyday in second-year was 9-6.

    Hi
Can you please share if you had any programming experience while applying? If yes, could you share what did your work included? I am a high school student, and was wondering what could I start working on to be a strong applicant.
Any tips /advice is highly appreciated !
    Thank you

I didn’t have any extensive programming experience but I did take ICS (Introduction to Computer Science) in Grade 10 and 12. My work was at a Constituency Office for a MP!
I am sure you got this! Go apply!
