I dont mind having punjabi, Hindus and Sikhs living in brampton they're very nice people and their food is delicious, but I will say this: in all of my life living in brampton i never experienced so many issues with driving in brampton until indian immagrants migrated to this city , and because of all the car accidents and dangerous road rage, car insurance sky rocketed and now someone like me who has never been in a car collision has to pay hundreds of dollars because of their negligent driving habbits...... my point is please be safe, focus and dont be distracted when driving. Follow the rules !!😁

Where I live a residency program called PNP brought allot of people to "live" here
The people become Canadian residents as soon as the plane hits the runway.
They go to the DMV and swap their drivers licence - for free and don't have to take a driving exam
They drive the biggest cars and SUV and trucks they can find
They don't stay long, but allot of rich people take advantage of this poorly run government program.

How ignorant is your comment omg🤦‍♀
"In india people can earn more than anywhere else in the world"
Are you alright in the head? Ik countless people who are either underpaid or highly over qualified for their current jobs. People are literally sitting jobless at their homes with recognized college degrees in their hands. Sab 'hardwork' karte hain, but jab jobs hain hi nahi toh milegi kaise? Next time, think twice before throwing out statements like these.
Its not 'Easy' to go abroad, students mostly carry heavy loans with them for their studies abroad. This is because somewhere they know that the chances of having a better quality of life as compared to India is more in a foreign country. My father also gave me a chance to go for higher studies outside india but I chose not to because I cant stay away from them but even ik that probability of me leading a better life in every which way, will be better in a foreign country.

Before I moved to Brampton, I had no idea HOW MANY Indians actually lived here. I'm of south Asian descent but I grew up here as a Canadian. I still keep my culture but I'm Canadian FIRST. It's true too, some of them don't believe in deodorant, holy shit I literally had to tell a guy who sat beside me on the bus that he smelled. I know it was rude but if someone doesn't tell these people, they will think not wearing deodorant is normal. I miss the Canada I grew up in. My friends were mostly white but there was a nice mix of us: white, black, asian so we all got along. Today, everyone is in their own groups, strangers are the enemy, there is so much more segregation than there has ever been. Not long ago at a Tim Hortons I heard an Indian guy who was clearly new to the country telling his friend he didn't have to learn English because everyone in Brampton speaks Punjabi, it was insulting hearing that.....Listen up Indians and any immigrants coming here: BEFORE you come here, learn English, LEARN the customs and learn the CANADIAN WAY. You owe it to Canada, give something back before you start taking.

Diversity is one of the spices of life after all. So screw the haters; they should go back to Europe where they belong if they don't like Canadian multiculturalism, I say. Nice Video but such misleading comments by people. No you cant afford everything with the minimum wage. People here are doing 2 jobs a day. Only skilled resources make good money, but they dont want to put in the same effort in India. I am in Canada too, making good. Money but did not like the misleading comments displayed in this video.
If you did your masters properly i am sure you can make good money in India. Yeah if you did it with jugaad from an unrecognized university then i can't tell. I know of people who attended college/University programs in Toronto and still can't get good jobs. So if you were paid 5000 after your masters then there is something you didn't tell us about masters in this video.
Again another comment in the video is that guy mentions of you making only 10000, that's if you are working on a low profile clerical job, but if you are qualified, hard working then surely you can achieve a lot there too... I started with 8k INR but thats not where i am today. And $14/hr doesn't give you your house, car and all you mentioned in the video.
I know for people from certain areas in India, its all about how they can make it to Canada by Hook or Crook and this video just motivates them.
I am not here to say India is better than Canada or any form of comparison, every country has its baggage and so does India. Its is about what you can do with the resources you have.

People working in minimum wage job can barely afford two times meal and rent for shared apartment but people working minimum wage job in Canada can easily afford basic amenities and plus the pollution free environment. No corruption. The best part is no Indians around. That's the difference . Go figure it out. Every truck driver can buy Ford mustang in Canada where as engineer's can't afford ecosport in india. No matter which car you buy the road conditions are pathetic in india . Don't act like you know everything because you moved here, let people make their own choices. Everyone knows the truth.

Many of our new Punjabi residents have a penchant for long-haul trucking between Canada and the USA, and they are well known for getting caught with bricks of powder at the border. It's their brand, and the authorities are well aware of it. They're gonna get a lot more scrutiny than I would, and that's fair. You earned it, now deal with it.
I visited Punjab in India for about a week, saw the Golden Temple, which was beautiful. I did however see a lot of heroin use there. Brown sugar, smoked on the foil. I smoked with a few people, a couple of times, and the quality was good, and price very cheap. That was in 2006. But please leave the smack and cocaine abroad, and don't bring them here, we already have enough drugs, thank you. Local Brampton Mayors and Ontario gov never tried to put/invite some universities, hospitals and white collar jobs in Brampton, due to that Brampton became mostly bedroom community and all mix people started leaving city by seeing huge influx of South Asian population. Most people in Brampton are either truck driver, construction worker or labourer working in warehouse, while North-West part of Brampton is mostly young IT people working in Downtown or Mississuaga. I personally don’t know a single person who works in Brampton. But, still every Indian wants to live in Brampton just because of food & brown community. Now Brampton will become more brown and brown every year, just because there is no reason for other community to come and live in Brampton, no white collar jobs, not many hospitals or colleges or universty which can bring mix crowd. Brampton will be 100% south asian in next 10 years as most 50%+ new immigrants to Canada are from South Asia and every year 450000 new immigrants comes to Canada!

It used to be. Not so much at the current moment, if Justin Trudeau loses the election, we are going to become like the U.S. under Trump. Pierre Poilievre is like the Canadian version of Trump, unfortunately....
For immigration... We imported too many too fast, they don't assimilate, so we need to take a break. Ive been to India 3 times, I love it there, from H. Pradesh, all the way to Tamil Nadu.

Ok so there's a lot of back and forth racial comments in here so I'm going out on a limb. I've been living in castlemore bramton since 2005 1st phase. It was multicultural then, which is how it should be. I grew up in Woodbridge where there were more Italians than other cultures, but I could get a job there, and I did not feel out of place. The problem that I have with Brampton is that, the Indians do not hire any other culture in their business places, from the banks straight down to the grocery stores. I would also like to keep my property value up to par and even that's becoming hard. Segregation is UNACCEPTABLE!!. It bothers me that the government is allowing this to happen. I see job postings online that's asking for Punjabi as a second language. Any job postings in Canada should have either French or English requirement, any other language(s) is a plus. This comment is based on my own experience being a resident of Brampton. Facts is facts!

You are quite right and I see the same thing with Indian expat communities in different countries. The issue is that people can come to Canada from anywhere and they will not integrate or even acknowledge that people with different cultures are here and they bring the baggage from there home countries here. As a black Canadian I'm sick of this. Multiculturalism isn't working and I think that Canada is storing up a lot of problems in the future if it continues like this.

Hey Careen. I've done business graduation, and want to immigrate to Canada directly, could you suggest some job postings in demand for beginners or companies offering marketing jobs to beginners for me getting work permit ??
Or some of the in-demand short courses from some of the best colleges/ universities or some diploma ?
Any information or resource would be really helpful.
      Thanks.

Being indian i agree with you. Most of Indians actually hate white culture but they all want to migrate to same white countries and when they do they don't even bother to integrate into other culture. Canada and usa should completely stop immigration from india, pakistan, Bangladesh. Too much Indians already.

I was raised in Brampton Ontario and when my family moved there from ?Nova Scotia there were a total of 20.000thousand people there and when I left there after my mother died I went west my brother stayed my father stayed for 10 more years then went back to NS and I went from BC to Edmonton To Prince Albert it would seem I go to every shit hole in Canada but when I left Brampton there were 3.8 million and when I went back to visit my father in N.S. and my brother in Brampton it was 6.8million and Pictou was the nicest Brampton sucked as the crime rate was crazy .When we were in EDENPARK DRIVE we were there first and the first Pakistani's moved in with the whole color scream hooked shoes with bells on the toes and robes we never seen be for and then finding out there child is named Happy that was different but when my father got a gas BBQ and he was cooking his first roast beef they were all out there cursing my father for cooking there sacred animal and he said dam right it is sacred that my f-ckin dinner.

I grew up in Brampton in the 90s. Sure, it's become a lot more crowded. But still I love it here. The people are nice and I get to experience so many cultures. I've even had free lunch many times at the Sikh temples here. For people hating Brampton and saying USA is better, have you ever been to The Bronx NY or Newark NJ? They look like third world countries and you can't go out at night. I don't see any reason for hating Brampton other than racism.
