Yeah I’m siding with Dave I feel like John Carpenter did a half ass back story in the first one, and one critic at the time probably said oh it’s because Micheal Myers has always been this way and Carpenter ran with it and said it’s because he’s always been the shape. Now die hards for the first movie didn’t like that rob zombie was like I think this is what John Carpenter was actually going for, and I actually enjoyed I love both movies, but this one is like a 4.1 for me and the first is like 3.8!
