I have only one reason to play the FD and it is because of Shigehira! I actually still haven't completed the original game but I already go directly to the FD because of him.
I got the Fandisk a few days ago and I've basically been playing ever since haha. I'm very slow with playing cuz I'm just a beginner, but I'm still very much enjoying it! Hopefully this will be a great learning experience!

Thanks for posting. Of the nine characters, I liked Tsugunobu Sato the most. I like male characters who are older than me, but of a lower social status than me, who love me, who use honorifics to me, and who do their best to take care of me. I like male characters that look a little long and have a refined and clean face. Tsugunobu was perfect for this condition.

"Keigo" doesn't exist in English, so it might be difficult to tell you what I like. In Japanese, for example, I get annoyed when a male character asks me, "おまえは○○と言っただろ" (Although some women like that kind of "Ore-sama character"). I like male characters who say, "あなたは○○とおっしゃったでしょう" even if it's the same content. I feel respected when men use polite language (です、ます) and honorific language (special verbs such as 言う→ おっしゃる). In addition, characters who use honorifics are elegant and well-educated.

"拙者" is used by men who serve their masters, such as samurai and ninja. In modern times, "拙者" is too old-fashioned and feels like an uncle. That's why most samurai and ninja characters in otome games use "ぼく", "おれ", and "わたし". Benkei in Birushana is a precious and unique character.

As a Yoritomo simp his after story gave me everything I might have ever wished (Scroll down for spoilers). From the side characters I really liked Tadanobu (kind of surprisingly, he didn't look to be my type) and then Shigehira was amazing, possibly my favourite. Repetition aside, I liked that they tried to deviate a bit from the usual plot in parts of Tadanobu and Takatsuna's stories. With a lower intermediate level of Japanese it's taken me a while to get through it (and I still need to deep-read half of it), but I would purchase a second FD if they ever release it without giving it a second thought. ⚠️🚨Spoilers below🚨⚠️ From Yoritomo's route the beach makeout, hot af argument/make-up scene AND loose hair sprite took the crown for me 😍. As for Shigehira's, I enjoyed it so much, so consistently, it nearly ruined the other Heike routes, where it borrowed from but managed to combine into a more satisfying package.
Yes, Yoritomo was too good to be true 😍 (could you please write spoilers before your sentence and maybe add some spaces, so people who haven't played the game and browse through the comments don't accidentally see it?) Shigehira is so cute!! I loved the story with Tomomori so much You're right! Especially Takatsuna's story was interesting in that regard! Congrats on finishing it, though it was a challenge! 🥳 Totally me too 🤣
@@LinLinLavender You have got to try it out though it isn’t really steamy it has a nice plot and a pretty relatable mc. Sometimes the romance is a bit lacking but it always feels natural when there!
