I was born in 96 so this was actually how I was introduced to Nightmare before Xmas. Idk how but this world I had the least connection to in the game ended up making me feel the most connected to the game. The background rendition of "This is Halloween" is just pure nostalgia for me now.
When i first got Kingdom Hearts back in 2002, i did not realize that Halloween Town was going to be a world that we visit and i jumped for joy when Jack appeared and could be chosen as a partner. Also that fact that we got to beat up Oogie Boogie was an added bonus too.
I mean they're a permanent part of your party no matter what, you can't add or remove either of them so there isn't much deciding in who's good or not to have. As to who's the BETTER one of the party, that depends on the abilities you give them, like any other RPG.
