Hey all! Thank you SO much for HALF A MILLION VIEWS on this video! I am absolutely astonished by the amount of support on this video. I am planning to do some more videos of this style, covering various speedruns of different games in great detail (including non Kingdom Hearts game). Secondly, I've included my KH1 Platinum Trophy RTA notes in the description! These notes showcase my exact route and all menus that I do in the speedrun for those interested in tackling the speedrun or just want a text-based guide!
Hey dude, quick question. Are you using LV1 strats because its tested to be faster at LV1 or because you are not familar with the strats if your are not Lv1?
Dude...just how hard was your heart beating in those final seconds?! I can't imagine that whether your almost 10 hour run was a success was determined by 20 seconds! Congrats man!
I had no idea the questions at the beginning changed your exp outcome Actually makes me a little proud of my 10 year old self for reading it and VERY carefully choosing each one. I wish I still had that save state to see what I picked. I know I picked the staff for magic, but after that, I think I screwed myself haha.
I'm only 16 minutes into this so far, but you do a really good job of breaking the pretty systematic and methodical talking that's so necessary with explaining these runs with jokes that are seamless and natural as FUCK. Helps a lot with the pacing of the video and maintaining attention, especially with a challenge like this, so just wanted to comment that while it was on my mind before I kept watching!
20:02 This part made me burst out laughing. The Deep Dive cutscene skip is not a trick I expected or even considered to be part of the speedrun, but it makes sense if you're going for all trophies. Considering you only had about 20 seconds to spare at the end, this trick was actually crucial to the run succeeding. Great stuff, and awesome video. Congrats!
As a former KH1 runner, it’s so cool to spot all the speedrun tricks I used to do in Any% Beginner. And it’s even more impressive to do while going for *Platinum trophy!* Bravo
KH2 and KH3 would be awesome! The only game I think would be an issue is DDD, since you have to play it once to unlock Critical. And I'm pretty sure Critical is a trophy right? I might be wrong
I really like the fact that you've put the actual world OST when editing. It was so sweet to the ears watching this video. I really liked it, even though I'm not a huge fan of commented speedruns. (Not a native English my bad for that last sentence) You seem genuinely cool, appreciated the video from beginning to end!
"I defeat Oogie, and then defeat him again when he turns into a house." 😂 that got me so good. But seriously, wow - what a playthrough. You deserve so many more subs bro, wishing you all the best! Time for me to play through KH again 😄
Fun fact about the chests at 44:00, in the original release if you dont grab them your first time before destroying the castle some of them never appear! That stuff is only in Final Mix!! So you can literally miss a Dalmatian chest!.. forever.
I have the ps2 version not final mix. And yes, there was times I believed I missed it completely. But then I found em where it once stood in some area where they are all together. And every time after that if I missed it on purpose, I managed to collect them all together once oogie manner was destroyed.
Right in the center of the Manor Ruins, there's a little trench that contains all the chests you missed, including one chest that's always there (unless I just always miss it lmao). Even the strategy guide for og kh1 mentions it
I remember years ago some runners like Mist said it wasn't feasible to do the whole run in Proud Mode and that the then 13 hour run was better to do most of it on Beginner and just the last few trophies on Proud... now we're down to under 10 hours. What a time to be alive. Not to mention the final boss's theme is composed by Yoko Shimamura :)
I just played through on proud mode and thought it was so incredibly difficult. I had no idea there was this much tech in KH1. This is so awesome to see
This is phenomenal, holy crap! I would never be able to do this because I don’t think it’s possible for me to sit and play for longer than a couple of hours at a time. I love how you explain what you did, it’s really easy to understand! This was a really fun watch 😊
This is one of my most favorite games of all time. I have the platinum but I never thought about trying to get it in less than 10 hours. That is super cool. Congrats dude.
I've been rewiring/rebuilding one of my 3d printers with this video in the background, and to look over and see 20 seconds to spare before the 10 hour mark was nothing short of incredible. It honestly had me cheering for you, congrats on the achievement!
The Sephiroth part was really nostalgic. I remember playing that over and over as a kid to grind just because it was so fun. Obviously I'm no speed runner, it seems so stressful. In KH2, the Xemnas fight was the best.
I just finished my platinum run of KH1 (not a speed run thankfully) and the Defender was the last thing I had to do which ended up with me spending an hour or so to get to drop, so it's really interesting to know that the Wizard's Relic is actually supposed to be rarer. Congrats on the run!
As someone who recently got all the achievements for kh 1 on the xbox version of 1.5, 2.5 remix, the idea of doing every achievement/trophy in 10 hours is just insane. First playthrough I did 100% of everything at the 21 hour mark and I had to leave the game running until the timer looped from 99.99.99 to 0.00 before I faced ansem. In that playthrough I also got the beat the game without using a continue. This was also the first time I 100% KH 1 so there was a lot of moments where I had to figure stuff out for the first time. Second playthrough was the first time I played any kh game on proud and the first couple hours there was a steep learning curve as I had to learn to deal with the heartless that were more deadly than on normal. Most of the bosses took several attempts but as soon as I got tinkerbell from neverland I stopped having as much issues with bosses. Final playthrough was the unarmored run i played on easy and after just finishing proud most of that playthrough I was still playing with the same playstyle I adopted in proud making the run a deathless run. In total it took me 126 hours but it is only because I went afk until the timer looped. 10 hours to plat Kingdom Hearts 1... Have you ever heard the definition of Insanity?
I was in agony at first, Violin wouldn't change the Kingdom Key for any other better Keyblade. But that's ok, I can live just fine with someone who finished Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix with the starter Keyblade just for a platinum trophy. It's hard but maybe I'll try too, you are amazing bro!
This game was my first platinum ever and it was awesome seeing you do this so fast! It really makes me want to learn these strats and try it for myself haha
Whenever I go back to this game and beat Sephiroth being all powered up, it feels so good. When I was a kid, I didn't know you could swap keyblades until like my 4th playthrough of the game. So I remember absolutely raging hardcore fighting Sephiroth for hours on end with the Kingdom Key until I finally beat him, wondering why it was so hard.
I'm just about 12 minutes into the video, and I'm enjoying it a lot! I've beaten this game countless times on the PS2, so it's always nice watching the final mix version!
I am mesmerized. I have played this game by hours and hours when i was a kid and it is incredible to see that i haven't even scratched the whole content the game offers. Thank you!
Your video is what inspired me to beat kh1 fm on PC on proud mode. I beat normal kh1 on normal mode on ps2 two decades ago and that was so hard. If it wasn't for your video, i wouldnt have been able to actually beat this game on proud. It still took me 23 hours, but im still glad i was able to even complete it. You really are the best kh speed runner!
I tried this run too and I managed to do it in 21h, so I know how crazy it is to achieve it in less than half the time and all in one sit! You are crazy good! Also really good video with clear explanations ;)
Down to the wire! Super impressive - I really appreciate how you were able to break down a run that seems incredibly technical into terms that we can understand. Gg!
12:55 "You gotta admit, Kh1 has some very cool secrets" I've probably played through this game at least half a dozen times, and I *still* find out new stuff whenever I replay it
Good god man, speedrunning not just the game in general, but the Platinum itself which can take anywhere between 40-60 hours for most people. Absolute madness, you're a goddamn King my dude 🫡
I’m 20 hours into my like 5th KH1 play through and have never thought sub 10 hours was a possibility, I’m not even level 50 yet, and somehow you’re level 100 and 100% with less than 1/2 the time. Congrats my guy!!!!
Found this channel when looking up Kingdom Hearts playthroughs , and this may be my new fav account! Been watching all your videos since, keep up the good work.
Wow man what a close call great job I've gotten the KH platinum trophy and it took me around 20 hours in game time I couldn't imagine not only doing it in 10 hours but 10 hours in 1 sitting is nuts it took me about 2 days playing roughly 10 hours per day. I wish you had a heart rate monitor I bet you were really on edge with 20 seconds left for sub 10 hours lol
BROOOOO! I just found you , and I loved kingdom hearts one as a kid, i was getting my ass beat in this game always!!!! I always thought I beat this game, but there was so much stuff I dont even know existed in this game. Oh man, I gotta look at some more videos to see like a 100% play through and see all KH has to offer in this game. Its actually incredible how many hidden gems, bosses, and stuff I didnt even realize were there. Congrats on sub 10 hour too! coming down to 20 seconds is insane!!!
Something about the pacing of your words and how you talk made this so easy to watch. I loved this video and cant believe i missed out on so many secrets lol
Holy cripes! Congratulations on the sub-10 run! I honestly didn't think it was possible, but seeing all of the crazy tricks and tech that went into the run, I can see why it's possible. Maybe one of these days I'll give it a try myself...
I recently came back to this on PS4 after having played it on PS2 and PS3 and was looking for Platinum trophy guides, when I found your video. This run was ABSOLUTELY INSANE! Picked up a lot of tips from it but there's not a chance in hell I am attempting Proud mode in under 10 hours! 🤣
Gotta comment again after finishing the video. This seems like an absolutely insane run. You gotta be absolutely turned on for ten hours. I've gotten the plat on ps4 and I'm pretty close to the plat on ps3. I know how much work goes into this. I feel like even for someone who has been playing the game the way you have been it has to be an incredible feat. Great job.
This was an absolute joy to watch, i really hope to see some more Platinum speedruns, maybe from more Kingdom hearts titles (Just do 2.8 ReMIX platinum trophy speedrun and lose like 4 days of your life x) obviously jk). Everything was so clear cut and the information, even tho it was a lot of things, was broken down very well. Earned a sub and i really cant wait for more amazing content!
Got recommended your video. Great content! You did a great job explaining the run and keeping things moving when summarizing a 10 hour run. Hope to see more content like this in the future.
This is my first time seeing anything from the KH speedrunning scene and 5 minutes into the video I'm already amazed by the craziness. As a casual player, even without the platinum trophy goal in mind, being in Agrabah in an hour is just insane to me, lmao.
This is wild, whoever did the calculations on the sequence of actions put some serious thought into this run, I can only imagine an excel spreadsheet with hundreds of tasks and checkboxes lol
I've always wanted people to do platinum speedruns. I'm glad you chose to make this video. It's really entertaining and well edited. It seems like you're primarily a KH runner, so I hope you at least do the other KH games as platinum speedruns
Love how you left the Level 100 trophy so that you get it after defeating Sephiroth, i did the same thing There is something satisfying about getting so many trophies at the same time
I’ve watched this video several times already, and I haven’t even played Kingdom Hearts (but I know the extremely complicated plot after the first game). I’ve begun getting very fascinated with Platinum runs and all the mechanics and skill that goes into it, seeing these games dissected to the core is always interesting. Congrats on sub 10 👍
It’s always been funny to me that theoretically, speedrunners spend the least time playing games, but in practice, they actually spend way, way more time in a game than average.
As someone who is just now replaying the Kingdom Hearts saga, this video is amazing. I never got the chance to play the final mix versions because I lived in the US and the one store that sold Japan exclusive games went out of business.
There are so many things I never even knew was there or in the game at all, holy crap. Great run man, and very impressive job. Appreciate you explaining everything! You got a new fan.
I'm playing kingdom hearts for the first time and I can't believe how fast you did it because I wasted 5 hours trying to do the last few fights and had to reset because I was under leveled so seeing you manage to not only complete the game but platinum it in just double that time. And also on hard mode without having access to all the key blades that's crazy
Imagine your 10 hour run dying like 60% of the way there to a series of bad RNG drops where your splits just slowly deplete until your PB is no longer possible. This is the kind of shit that makes you question why you became a speedrunner. Kudos to you for sticking with it.
I cant even imagine the dedication to accomplish this. This is just amazing to watch, because kingdom hearts its my childhood game and its my favourite. Youve accomplished something that we as kids could not. Youre a hero sir, i salute you.
Crazy how long my save file was when I was 12 and this game came out to see it done so fast and complete blows my mind. Crazy to think 20 years later the series is still going
KH1 is so nostalgic. . . I used to go fight the ice titan just for fun. As a matter of fact, it was so fun that in some school art project I made a clay hand of the ice titan... just pointy 4 fingered hand. Not very impressive in reality, but it felt neat at the time lol!
The moment he said “and it would be a shame if anything would try to hold this pace back-“ I got an ad with a bulldozer going through a bunch of ice 😂😭
I wasn't expecting the Goofy Simple and Clean to come on right at the end 😂 Definitely want some more KH videos like this! I'd like to see your strat for KH2FM Critical Mode Lingering Will
Okay, dropping a like for that sick grotto out-of-bounds. I've played this game dozens of times and watched loads of others' playthroughs and I'd never seen that.
I was sweating during those last 2 min!
Do the whole series please
new system of video recomendation from ytb that give small content creator visibility on the right bar is quite good for discover good content :D
Hey dude, quick question.
Are you using LV1 strats because its tested to be faster at LV1 or because you are not familar with the strats if your are not Lv1?
Using EXP Zero scales your damage up when you're below the battle level, which means you can deal more damage in certain scenarios
Dude...just how hard was your heart beating in those final seconds?! I can't imagine that whether your almost 10 hour run was a success was determined by 20 seconds! Congrats man!
Thank you! Yeah it was definitely very nerve racking!
Illiterate.
May your heart be your guiding key
I’ve platinumed all the KH games, I can’t imagine the time you put in to prepare to platinum this game in under 10 Hrs!
I've completed kh1 more than 10 times and this video managed to teach me 5 new secrets about the game. I'm impressed! Congrats Violin!
I had no idea the questions at the beginning changed your exp outcome
Actually makes me a little proud of my 10 year old self for reading it and VERY carefully choosing each one. I wish I still had that save state to see what I picked.
I know I picked the staff for magic, but after that, I think I screwed myself haha.
I'm wondering how many of these secrets were added as I've only played the original on ps2.
the only one i didnt really know was the bamby one, i dont really use that many sumons XD when i got my platinum the grind was real
@@ZeranZeran*laughs in proud mode, magic buff, and defense debuff.*
@@Taparu2i think the hd release didn’t add anything other than exp zero
I'm only 16 minutes into this so far, but you do a really good job of breaking the pretty systematic and methodical talking that's so necessary with explaining these runs with jokes that are seamless and natural as FUCK. Helps a lot with the pacing of the video and maintaining attention, especially with a challenge like this, so just wanted to comment that while it was on my mind before I kept watching!
Thank you very much!
That's why I want a KH 2 FMx breakdown !
Its been 8 months, and he still didn't finish...
Goofy singing simple and clean at the end of this speedrun was perfect ending 😂 this speedrun was absolutely amazing
I tried to speed run KH2FM platinum and after like 15 hours I gave up lmfao
Should I do more Platinum Trophy speedruns? If so, what games or series would you like to see?
Birth by Sleep XD
KH2 and KH3 would be awesome! The only game I think would be an issue is DDD, since you have to play it once to unlock Critical. And I'm pretty sure Critical is a trophy right? I might be wrong
kh2 and kh3 would be super fun to watch!
And if you want to branch out, DMC 1,3 and 5 are also great fun
kh2 and kh3 definitely
Yes :) I love the editing and the video! Great job pal on this video and also love the voice recording because thats alot of talking in a video lol!
I really like the fact that you've put the actual world OST when editing. It was so sweet to the ears watching this video. I really liked it, even though I'm not a huge fan of commented speedruns. (Not a native English my bad for that last sentence)
You seem genuinely cool, appreciated the video from beginning to end!
But please stop doing that. It's 2am and I need to work tomorrow, that's not cool man!
(spoiler)
3rd message sorry lol but I've just finished the video and GG omg, by 20 seconds!!
As someone who has this platinum, this is probably one of the most impressive videos I’ve ever seen! Massive congratulations 🥳
"I defeat Oogie, and then defeat him again when he turns into a house." 😂 that got me so good. But seriously, wow - what a playthrough. You deserve so many more subs bro, wishing you all the best! Time for me to play through KH again 😄
Thank you very much!
I defeated xeonort ,and then defeated him again when he turned into a boat
Then did this exact thing again in kh2
Sora's diary be like:
Fun fact about the chests at 44:00, in the original release if you dont grab them your first time before destroying the castle some of them never appear! That stuff is only in Final Mix!!
So you can literally miss a Dalmatian chest!.. forever.
Same with the red trinity, which was in Oogie Boogies mansion in the original.
I have the ps2 version not final mix. And yes, there was times I believed I missed it completely. But then I found em where it once stood in some area where they are all together. And every time after that if I missed it on purpose, I managed to collect them all together once oogie manner was destroyed.

the chests always spawned in the trench, the only thing that was missable was a red trinity and not the item from it just getting it at all
@Cross-chan only missable if you don't look for it. It ends up also changing location to ground level after you destroy oogies lair.
I'd love to see you do this for KH2/3, really enjoyable with your insight and knowledge.
I remember years ago some runners like Mist said it wasn't feasible to do the whole run in Proud Mode and that the then 13 hour run was better to do most of it on Beginner and just the last few trophies on Proud... now we're down to under 10 hours. Thank you very much!
Congratulations Violin! The unedited run was fantastic to watch but now I see this Plat video as a great guide to Plat KH1! Fantastic job!
DAMN! That's some dedication! GG, man. Love how you explain everything in a very easy to understand way. Good stuff.
The Sephiroth part was really nostalgic. I remember playing that over and over as a kid to grind just because it was so fun. Obviously I'm no speed runner, it seems so stressful. In KH2, the Xemnas fight was the best.
I have played this game for years and just now learned that you can freeze the bubbles in Hollow Bastion. Sick run!
Ive been playing this game since it came out yet ive learned about so many things i have missed over the years. Incredible video my friend!
I just finished my platinum run of KH1 (not a speed run thankfully) and the Defender was the last thing I had to do which ended up with me spending an hour or so to get to drop, so it's really interesting to know that the Wizard's Relic is actually supposed to be rarer. Congrats on the run!

Thank you Guides!!
Played this game for decades... and I didn't realize how OP the summons could be. Awesome video!
I DIED when Goofy started busting out Simple and Clean 😂😂😂😂 I was just listening to the re-released version and that made this ending so much better
Congratulations!!! Fantastic run and explanation to boot!
Glad you know where the Lady Luck Keyblade is in this game now.
STOP 😂
The throwback
Rare truffles are my favorite enemy in the game. Besides the one in monstro, I love how it's a showcase of pure juggling skill.
I did the no continues, no changing armor, 15 hour thing on Beginner and still thought it was annoying. Mad respect
I can really tell that you put a lot of effort into this project, love to see it man. Good job!
Good god man, speedrunning not just the game in general, but the Platinum itself which can take anywhere between 40-60 hours for most people. Absolute madness, you're a goddamn King my dude 🫡
Amazing - Those last few seconds were tense as hell. Well played dude! Subscribed!
Hey there! Congrats! This was actually my first Platinum for the PlayStation. Great vid!
I’m 20 hours into my like 5th KH1 play through and have never thought sub 10 hours was a possibility, I’m not even level 50 yet, and somehow you’re level 100 and 100% with less than 1/2 the time. Congrats my guy!!!!

Love Kingdom Hearts Platinum speedruns, and I want to not just tip my hat to your gameplay but also your editing and commentary. Liked and subscribed!

Great job.
I don't actually know how much work goes into this because there are sick speed run strats I've never used. But hopefully you get what I'm saying.
clean edits and straight to the point, got invested in minutes.
Dude...I had no idea there was all this hidden stuff. Amazing video! Hope you get your wish for more subs
I know you just finished this one, but how about the SECOND game next? Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix Platinum trophy speedrun? :3
As soon as I saw the “get bonus” pop up in the corner for a subscriber “35:54” I had to give a sub, love small things like that, keep up the good work
Sick run man very well done, glad to give you another view with full watch time you deserve it!! Keep up the good content KH is a childhood classic!
Got recommended your video. Great content! You did a great job explaining the run and keeping things moving when summarizing a 10 hour run. Hope to see more content like this in the future.

Love the pacing on this video. I like your jokes. Definitely excited to have a new TH-cam channel to binge the backlog of
This is wild, whoever did the calculations on the sequence of actions put some serious thought into this run, I can only imagine an excel spreadsheet with hundreds of tasks and checkboxes lol
Hermano, eres increíble, no se como no tienes tantos suscriptores, te mereces muchos más, muy bueno tu contenido!
Never knew the questions wakka, tidus, and selphie asked and the answers you selected altered the game😮?
Do you happen to have a VoD for the whole run? I would love to watch.
I've always wanted people to do platinum speedruns. I'm glad you chose to make this video. It's really entertaining and well edited. It seems like you're primarily a KH runner, so I hope you at least do the other KH games as platinum speedruns
Thank you! I actually plan to branch out and do Plat Trophy speedruns for other series and games! Stay tuned 😁
This is the most fun I've ever had replaying this game, very nice and detailed guide, thank you so much! 🙏
Love how you left the Level 100 trophy so that you get it after defeating Sephiroth, i did the same thing
There is something satisfying about getting so many trophies at the same time
I’ve watched this video several times already, and I haven’t even played Kingdom Hearts (but I know the extremely complicated plot after the first game).
It's been so long since i played this game that I don't remember like half of what you're doing. And the levels felt so much bigger as a kid.
I never questioned the trapped dalmatians in the moogle Shop till now 😅
As someone who is just now replaying the Kingdom Hearts saga, this video is amazing.
So cool! Thank you for this video!! Lifelong KH fan so this was such a fun journey to watch. I was hooked.
I gotta give props to you getting to Twilight Town in 15 minutes, thats an achievement on its own.
Imagine your 10 hour run dying like 60% of the way there to a series of bad RNG drops where your splits just slowly deplete until your PB is no longer possible. This is the kind of shit that makes you question why you became a speedrunner. Kudos to you for sticking with it.
I cannot believe there were so many things hidden in Hollow Bastion that I was unaware of despite completing the game in its entirety myself.
That run looks absolutely brutal. Congrats man.
Incredible video. You get right down to business and the editing and narration is fantastic. Easy sub
I love this format of a shortened plat and lots of explanation
I cant even imagine the dedication to accomplish this. This is just amazing to watch, because kingdom hearts its my childhood game and its my favourite. Youve accomplished something that we as kids could not. Youre a hero sir, i salute you.
Whoever created this 10 hour 100% completion trophy is a menace 😩! Congrats 👏
Hope your channel blows up man! This is killer content!
This is so cool to see. I never came close to 100%ing this game as a kid and it is awesome to finally get to see what happens
Leaving a comment down below. Vio, you're amazing. Loving the effort put into this video. Can't wait for the next one aswell!
Thank you very much!
This run is absolutely EPIC and this video was awesome to watch! Impressed with all the work that goes into making something like this possible.
congrats man, great video. I am so glad I turned on notifs for you, caught the vid 12 seconds after posting - almost like a premiere! :D
Another easy way to get exp is to go through the door at the same time as you beat captain hook so you can keep fighting him
This is the best Cliff Notes platinum trophy video guide I've ever seen. Thank you!
Thank you very much!
The moment he said “and it would be a shame if anything would try to hold this pace back-“ I got an ad with a bulldozer going through a bunch of ice 😂😭
This was a wild ride! Great video!
Good to see you back, this was a banger
I wasn't expecting the Goofy Simple and Clean to come on right at the end 😂 Definitely want some more KH videos like this! I'd like to see your strat for KH2FM Critical Mode Lingering Will
Okay, dropping a like for that sick grotto out-of-bounds. I've played this game dozens of times and watched loads of others' playthroughs and I'd never seen that.
