This is where the development of depth becomes paramount. Really excited to get into league play and see this teams position groups stressed by differing attacks. Loving the CK offense. It's fun to NOT know what's coming from presnap or tendency, and variation with the RPO game that should keep developing with experience. We just really don't know how good this team could be yet or how good they are now due to competition
Half the team is injured again we dont have depth like you guys.Having said that the Spartans have the right coach to turn things around in the next few years.

I somewhat agree with you about the defensive lack of performance, but it could be that Knowles is holding back, not showing what they are capable of, so not to give future opponents film to study! Also it was very hot down on the field, and obviously wears on the player’s! We will all find out soon about what Ohio State is when they play the best competition! 🌰🏈

Valid points...felt that way myself during the game...I do believe with the offense scoring so quick, the defense had practically no rest, Tyliek out clearly a factor, but to your point, we definitely need to be better. Teams shouldn't roll right down the field on us, not an elite defense look.
One game against an opponent that plays a lot different is not a concern. If we start to see a pattern of not getting stops on third down, or the run game is more successful, then there may be a problem. Let’s see how the defensive plays against MSU and Iowa.
OSU will beat MSU even if MSU cleans up the turnovers and they have a good defense - it could be competitive though, OSU still wins. MSU turns the ball over like they usually do. OSU won’t just beat MSU - it’s a blood bath

@@drscott614 I agree Ohio State’s defense didn’t look as good against Marshall as it did in the first two games, but not making excuses, it was 100 degrees plus on the field, and the defense was out there, especially in the first half, longer than usual, plus I think Ohio State ran a vanilla Offense, and defense in the first three games, not to give future opponents anymore film to watch! Just my opinion! 🌰🏈
@JeffreyLeohner OK. But even if that is true. These are players on Defense that for many, would be in the NFL! Most have started for at least 3 years some 4, so what's the problem?? My opinion, I've seen better Buckeye Defenses!! TALK IS CHEAP and these guys aren't cheap at all!! It's NIL TIME be professional and DOMINANT!!

They have the players, but don’t seem to be aggressive at times or move to the right spots.

Not concerned about defense against Marshall, we played a very conservative no blitz style defense. Stayed in our lanes and just played catch.
