We stayed at a really nice cabin down the road behind the Dollar General. We really wanted to eat here but The Times never lined up. Thanks for the video
Yes I went there when I went to quilt shop down the road in old log cabin. I think honeycrisp is my favorite. They have a beautiful place and large variety. I wonder where most folks come from who go there. Off interstellar traveling or gatlinburg? I guess it’s like Darnell farms, locals and tourists etc
I made pickled eggs when I ad chickens n so many eggs. Never heard of smoked ones. I don’t remember seeing the candy shop. Have y’all eaten at that restaurant? I remember it ring goos and sitting by the window looking out.
I would say it is mostly all of the above. For us, we actually heard about it on Facebook. I had been going through Cosby all those years, but since I generally cut across the Foothillhills Parkway, I hadn't really driven by Carver's and wasn't aware of it. But someone on Facebook had talked about it, and we've been trying to go there once a year ever since. That was probably 8-10 years ago. I can't place the quilt shop you are talking about, but I'll be looking for the cabin next time I go through. Thank you for letting me know about that.
I have never been to Cosby, I will have to go there one day. I use to pickle eggs years ago and I really liked them but now when you buy them they seem rubbery. Those fried pies are good I bet. I like the way they have the apples listed telling you how they are. I agree with you on the Arkansas Black, I had one once and was glad I didn't buy a basket of them.
I was reading somewhere, that the Arkansas Black is supposed to improve in taste, after being in storage awhile. But the ones I got, I ate immediately, and they had very little taste at all. I think I'll just stick with apples that I can eat right then, and not have to store for months. I don't know why she thought the eggs are rubbery. I mean, they aren't the most delicious tasting things on earth, but they were not as bad to me, as she thought they were. I didn't notice the "rubbery" part, myself.

👍 place enjoyed the review
Went there today! The scenery was so beautiful. The weekends get busy so we couldn’t eat at the restaurant 😢
It really is in a beautiful location. The restaurant has very good fried chicken if you like that, and have a chance to go back.

@@cumberlandquiltchic1 Yes, we've eaten there probably 5 times, or so.
Thanks for the review. Hope to go there sometime.

Just watched. I saw the Mackinac. Fudge. It’s made here up in Mackinac with the best tasting fudge in the world!
We love Carvers restaurant. That pickled egg looked gross! lol! I could smell the vinegar from it! 🤣
It wasn't nearly as bad as Shawnasi made it sound. I've eaten several of them since them, but she hasn't touched them again.
Smoked pickled eggs with a rubbery texture. No thanks!😂 the soda does sound good.
I don't know why she said they were rubbery. Maybe to her, but I didn't notice it.
So...do smoked pickled eggs yield little smoked pickled chickens???🐥🐤🐣🤣😂
Good question. Or, maybe the smoked pickled chickens lay the eggs?
