Thanks for this review PDubs, really enjoyed it. I quite like the look of this and wouldn't mind one myself,, especially the fact you can hold it vertically for the shoot em ups that need it. The game packages seem really well presented too, with the nice cases and booklets. Cheers 🍻.
PDubs, Value out the roof on this! Thanks for sharing! If something like this would've come out when the Gameboy Advance did, I would've been all over this. Can't really see small screens too well any more, and since I'm covered playing on larger screens on my 3/4 scale sized arcade machines, and I haven't "gamed on the go" in years, don't really care for it, Evercade, unfortunately, isn't for me. If they could've brought this out 20 some years ago, I would've owned this. Still, what a COOL DEVICE! And I love that we have another player in the game providing legitimate means to own our favorite arcade games (iiRcade as well, giving us ways to buy vetted licensed games without having to buy additional systems). And penny for your thoughts... I wonder if this would work with one of those new projector screen glasses. Then you could game on the go with a virtual 110 to 120 inch portable screen :) btw, your camera picked up the BEAUTY of the Evercade screen perfectly! vgv
PDubs, Yeah, if I didn't prefer, and have, arcade cabinets to play these games on, I would go for console for sure, that's how I had to do it back in the day, but now that we have more choices, arcade cabinets all the way for me :) Evercade still rocks though! vgv
Got a used one last week of ebay complete for £100 . Love the capcom games , all look fantastic on this ips screen Did find playing in tate mode but uncomfortable after about 10 - 15 mins
I think its a great lil handheld. Running the awesome and well love RK3328 of which I have alot on my Atgames products, this thing is pretty sweet and the price is right.
Anyone hear of problems with batteries overheating on their exp units. I got mine and had to send back. It would overheat when charging and would freeze in certain games. Got my money back but did not order again.
I was so into getting into the whole evercade experience till I found out its just emulation. To me emulation is an empty experience. It's tough to explain. Just my opinion. I have tons of handhelds and they play the real games perfectly. It's fun to collect and play the real thing. IMO. But thanks for the upload. 😊
