Hi. I have been watching some of this outdoors things...however, this draw me interest of seeing this young man have enjoyed outdoors. My beloved son passed away 4 years ago and loved things like this. I was sitting in my kitchen now, and was snowing outside, too. I came upon this, and just misses my son dearly...🙏
This was very comforting to me. My husband and I lived in the mountains for many years. Snow was a constant companion in the winter. The difference was that we had horses. Riding in the mountains while it snowed was ethereal. The silence was so peaceful. We had a handmade wood stove. There is nothing like the cozy warmth from a wood stove. My husband also smoked a pipe. He would go out hunting and fishing. So many memories. Thank you for inviting me into yours.
Ah peace and quiet - wonderful. No phone, computer, television - truly getting back to nature. Very enjoyable to watch. Thank you for sharing your time in your cabin with us. 🌲
This would be wonderful. Peace and quiet, no cell phones, no drama from other people, no screaming kids, no inconsiderate neighbors. I'd have to have my 2 cats with me and some good books, and a way to watch my favorite movies. Perfect.
We looking forward to what you describe as inconsiderate all week for our grand kids to come and bring life to this quiet old people’s home , what you describe is not a lively life is dead life 🤷🏼♀️
I loved viewing this. I liked how calm he was with everything. From removing his boots, to cooking his meal. A good meal, nice glass of wine, a snowing day and night, and best of all, NO PEOPLE!!! I could live there year round I think. Thanks for sharing this calming experience.
This is my ideal peace and comfort. I lived in the woods for over 30 years, heated with wood and lived as rustic as possible. I did put in a well.....as time goes, during summer months there would be weekenders come which ruined the balance of nature. I loved when the snow came, roads closed, no power...I was fully prepared....but I must have my dog's...this is a beautiful stone cabin, and I am sure warmer than mine was. I loved cooking on my wood stove...and cast iron was a must have. Yes, I miss it. But I am still living a little different, just different climate. Bravo, love the share, and the connection to the earth and the environment.
Well that was wonderful. Now I am so relaxed, off to bed with dreams of cozy cabins, soft falling snow outside, silence, and a man that can cook. I am set. Beautiful, thank you for posting.
Reminds me of a cabin I would visit when I lived in Alaska❣️ It was 40 miles out in the wilderness outside of Fairbanks on a river. It was fabulous!!! No electricity, no phone service, no one but me, God and the animals ❣️ I could have lived there forever 😍❣️
@@vincevarano1187 I didn’t want too however, Abba said it was necessary because circumstances and situations concerning family members. Maybe someday I can return. I love the wilderness and living off grid❣️
Some of my most memorable times , was sitting with my grandmother in front of her wood stove, she would cook some cheese and onion on toast and a cup of tea . sometimes she would run out of coal for the fire , so I would go to the coal yard and drag a bag of coal home on my sled. How I miss those days.
Snow makes everything like a winter wonderland, lovely to look at but a very hard life to live. Good for young people to get in touch with nature and learn how to survive in harder conditions.
Beautiful but lonely .. I was in snow mountain everywhere around the world from Ozark mountains to Jasper and Banff and Inverness in Glassgow Edinburg , Switzerland .. the feeling always the same .. feel very lonely .. not because I was alone but the feeling of coldness and restrictions made it harder .
When I was younger I experienced staying in a cottage of stone in the winter with a wood-burning stove. I have fond memories of those days. Cooking stews and soups over a wood-burning stove in a cast iron pot needs to be experienced to fully appreciate. The smells, the sound of the fire. It was very peaceful. I never had a problem sleeping. Then waking to a cold cabin and starting the fire to do it all over again. This was a nice peaceful video. Thank you from Los Angeles.
This is so beautiful. It snows a lot in the mountains of Virginia and we have very similar stone houses and quaint cabins here, so I feel right at home looking at this. It’s an absolutely wonderful experience to spend time in a cabin like this. I’ve written a lot of songs in front of a crackling fireplace… all cozy and warm. Plus, there’s an amazing stillness and a quietness that only comes when it snows like this. Ahhh, lock the world away. Beautiful!
I lived like this for 7 years in upstate NY. Toilet froze in winter as well as tap water. I did have a refrigerator though. Cooked on wood stove. Did not plan this for my life, but stuff happens. Very rugged, had my dogs. There were bear and coyote as neighbors. Some people (neighbors) up and down the road. 3 total. I LOVED it.
👍i grew up siliar in Poland in country side, u get up in the winter cold in the house ,water frozen in a bucket, no plumbing, cottage housee in the Polish country side, warm cabbage soups, and other soups, i loved it 2 now Queens NYC , rat race!!!

Many people like to watch these type of outdoor/wilderness videos in the US. We need the peace from chaos right now. Even for just a moment. Thank you for the tranquil moments Luca. from Michigan U.S.A.
I totally enjoyed this. A great fire, cooking on it, and thinking your thoughts. I think if more people stared at a fire or relaxed by one, the world wold be a kinder place.
Nothing quite as comforting as the silence between friends!. Silence is good my friends, we need more of that in this modern world. Dale from Canada 🇨🇦
Silence is important to make decision. Silence gives many ideas. In the city with heavy motorist and crowd of people the noise are too high. I think once in a year you need to live away from the civiliazation. It's healthy. Most of bestselling novelist lives in either a small town or off grid and guess what they create such a mindblowing scene in their novels. Ian Fleming of James Bond novels is an example.
Growing up we had a small lakeside cottage with a cast iron stove called "Glowing Embers", or something like that. Winter was the BEST of times in that little cabin. I cut and split all the wood with a bowsaw and ax, then hauled by the armload to the porch. Freezing when you came in and laid up the fire. Then the crack and crackle as it caught and began to throw a little warmth. Then as the stove began to radiate, you moved farther and farther away. The Very Best of times.
Beautiful. I love winter, love snow. We used to get more of it in St. Louis when I was a kid in the 80’s. Nothing better on a snowy day than curling up with a good book, some cocoa and my cat in front of a fire
I love your video. I was living like that in deep North of Poland for about eight years, how much work it was, but at the same time it grounds you, you are responsible for each little step and living with nature is so healthy
There are times when the solitude and silence are what's needed to soothe the mind and soul. And the only place to find it is in the solitude of nature. Grande Luca. Bel video.,
The part of the video I liked best of all was, lifting the pot onto the oven, putting the logs in the logburner and lighting your pipe. I could imagine the heat and smell of the wood, smell of the food and smell of pipe tobacco. Excellent.
Dear Luca, This reminds me of our own days in the cottage in Eastern Ontario on the island when we used to walk across the ice to get there ( or as soon as the ice was thick enough each winter just drive across the ice. Some of the best times were in the Winter. Now, 25 years on we live in the country and I've just filled the wood stove right up for the night since -17 C. is forecast. We typically use about 5 cords per Winter ( about 18 cubic meters ). which i cut from our own dead trees. Best of luck, Niall.
By any chance was that in or near Georgian Bay? I spent 3 months each summer my whole childhood on an island near Killarney. Locals would drive cars from K. to Little Current when this lake iced up...

I've never felt so "at home" just from watching a video. Watching you create Paniscia took me back to my grandmother Martinelli's kitchen. Salute, paisan.
I'd have never thought that watching this video would be so relaxing. I lost track of what he had put into the cooking pot, but by the time he'd finished cooking it I was starving!!.
1st pot: Cabbage, Carrot, Leeks, Bacon, Water to cover slow simmer to reduce. 2nd pot: Butter, onion, sausage x 2 kinds, rice, red wine, cabbage broth, tomato paste, red beans, grated cheese. Slow cook, stirring often until rice is cooked thru and very hot.
⛺️🌲🥘 🍷 💪 👍 👍 👍
Beautiful life among the forest and snow. So calm and peaceful life. No people , less worries , no expectations. Simple life with ease. No words people starving for such real luxury life. You the lucky man captured all kinda moments beautifully , simply without uttering a single word. I feel so happy after watching.
That looks so comforting and welcoming to live in, granted I myself haven't lived in a cabin but I had grown up on a farm and we quite literally lived off the land. It's something I'll never forget and this video alone brings me some of those memories back. Loved watching this and look forward to more.
I've come back to sink into this video again. Here in Nova Scotia, we had snow for about three days, and since then it's been balmy, rainy, green. And while I absolutely do love the beauty of a mild green winter, I'm longing for a beautiful stone cabin with a beautiful companion and a thick, heavy blanket of snow. Thank you so much for sharing this piece of your world with us.
Simple living. I love the ritualistic way he does everything. It was almost therapeutic to watch. We really need to learn how to enjoy the simple pleasures of everyday life.
I heated my mountainside, rural home exclusively with firewood for 36 years, so the first thing about this video that sparked my interest was the handsome wood stove.
By not speaking here, you’ve very thoughtfully showed the solitude and little distractions that come from being in the place that you are. A quiet confidence- good job!!
I agree 100 percent. My sentiments exactly!!!!!!!! . Looks like Alaska, northern Canadian Rocky mountains. Could be Europe somewhere like Austria, Sweden. Just my guess without looking at the credits of the video. Nice, very nice. In fact this is how I am gonna live when I retire. But in a log cabin. I caint afford a real stone cabin like this. I was definitely born in the wrong century because I totally hate modern life. It totally sucks ass!!!!.
As a young man, I feel that solitude is nice at times, to escape the busy city here in New York. The content in the video is superb and the absence of people talking could have been categorized as an ASMR video. Great video!
what a lovely old wood burning cast oron stove, I love such antiques - Mio nonno laveva una pot belly cast iron stove in his kitchen at his farm, the basement was the HUB of our famiglia , I cherish those days,
Imagine the peace and quiet. You're able to hear yourself think. Nothing to distract and pull at your spirit. Listening to the voice of God would come in clear. This is a beautiful homestead.
@@Γκριουρανό Some people just don't do well on their own. Many people would not cope well. They need to interact with others for their own sense of well-being. Others feel more peaceful in the quiet of nature because they feel they have so much there to communicate and interact with.

I see how everything was so neatly laid out and setup for your arrival! Looks like a fantastic time!... "bravery".... What? Where? In what aspect?....

We still live there now. Our daughter was born in February, 1,20 of snow. The snowplow brought the midwife... it's been forty years living there now. We live in Florida now since retirement. One year we went back home for Christmas. We rented a condo and I knew there was a big snowstorm headed our way so we went food shopping and stocked up. Bought a little Christmas tree and some cheap ornaments and invited some of our grandchildren over to stay, knowing we were gonna get snowed in. It worked out perfectly and we were snowed in for 5 days! It was a quaint small town and their roads were the last to be plowed. One of my best memories. We had a blast playing games and baking.

Loved watching this. I used to go on survival trips with my uncle, who taught survival skills in the army many moons ago LOL. Takes me back to the good old days 30+yrs ago, where we built an underground/dugout shelter, in the middle of winter, used stones and the clay mud to fashion a fireplace and chimney (I did that with his direction, and became a dab hand at it), and played card games like snap, solitaire etc. Great times were had after the hard work was done, kindling and logs were chopped ready for lighting. Dinner usually consisted of eggs, bacon, beans and sausages and with all the work that we had to do each time, we needed the feast. Good time were had back then. Anyway, again, you put out a great video, and it has spurred me on to take the motorbike out on a dry week and build a log cabin/dugout shelter again.

Some of my most memorable times , was sitting with my grandmother in front of her wood stove, she would cook some cheese and onion on toast and a cup of tea . sometimes she would run out of coal for the fire , so I would go to the coal yard and drag a bag of coal home on my sled. How I miss those days.

Beautiful but lonely .. I was in snow mountain everywhere around the world from Ozark mountains to

Yeah totally agree...nice to look at if you never been to one....good for a week or two but beyond that not for everyone
Beautiful!

Nothing quite as comforting as the silence between friends!. Silence is good my friends, we need more of that in this modern world. Dale from Canada 🇨🇦
👍 exactly , take a breake from rat race,!!!!!
Okay enough said, some silence please.😂🤣

Growing up we had a small lakeside cottage with a cast iron stove called "Glowing Embers", or something like that. Winter was the BEST of times in that little cabin. I cut and split all the wood with a bowsaw and ax, then hauled by the armload to the porch. Freezing when you came in and laid up the fire. Then the crack and crackle as it caught and began to throw a little warmth. Then as the stove began to radiate, you moved farther and farther away. The Very Best of times.
Amazing when heat and comfort become highly desirable.
Ugh I'm envious

Dear Luca,
This reminds me of our own days in the cottage in Eastern Ontario on the island when we used to walk across the ice to get there ( or as soon as the ice was thick enough each winter just drive across the ice. Some of the best times were in the Winter.
Now, 25 years on we live in the country and I've just filled the wood stove right up for the night since -17 C. is forecast. We typically use about 5 cords per Winter ( about 18 cubic meters ). which i cut from our own dead trees.
Best of luck,

Ottimo canale e belle riprese...sigh.
Lol oh I'm sure

Bought a little Christmas tree and some cheap ornaments and invited some of our grandchildren over to stay, knowing we were gonna get snowed in. It worked out perfectly and we were snowed in for 5 days! It was a quaint small town and their roads were the last to be plowed. One of my best memories. We had a blast playing games and baking.
@@kathyflowerlady thank you for sharing a lovely memory!
@@kathyflowerlady Snowed in is the best. Bake, play board games, watch a good movie, snuggle up with your favorite blanket and watch the snow fall. Love the four seasons.
Molto Bene....YOU have it all. A beautiful stone dwelling, perfect cooking cast iron pots,
excellent food...and you can cook, your stove bellisima....LOVE IT. You are very fortunate...
to be able to live like you do. The World is crazy, people have changed, you have the peace
and your perfect space. You should be grateful. I would like to live there. Grazie.
I love the color of the fieldstone and the red doors and window trims. Really beautiful against the white snow.
Yes the red really pops against the snow. Beautiful.

What a beautiful life, tranquility and peace in that place🥰🥰🥰
Luca, you are really privileged to have had this endearing, fulfilling yet sensible night in the cabin.

Love to see people happy living the life they want...
Che atmosfera. Magica!
Well done..
Brings back wonderful memories of my parents..
Thank you for bringing us along.
👍
Nessuno rumore fastidioso ....Grazieeeee troppo bello !!! 🤗🤗🤗
Looks like a beautiful stone cabin! I could live there ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Amid the chaos in the world, this was wonderful to relax to. Pure heaven.
Very very pleasant to watch. Gorgeous house and beautiful land. The ASMR you were able to give us to enjoy was fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more. Stay warm this winter my friend
Good I HATE ASMR. It makes me grit my teeth - it’s like nails on a blackboard for me. 😖😖
What an amazing opportunity this would be to have nothing but the essentials for a weekend or week. To be self reliant and reflect on ones existence. Bliss
