Dad played Don Williams every time. I used to get frustrated as a young boy through my teens because of listening to it every now and then. He was sad when Don passed away.
Now that dad passed away, I try to relive every moment we made together by listening to these songs. I know most of them by heart because of dad. I wish I could go back and respect every moment. I would if I could. I miss dad.

What a wonderful singer and a wonderful song. This song means so much to me. Don is one of the greats in country music. Does anyone know who wrote this song and what year Don released it on record? Don's smooth voice is so warm and so special - we just don't hear all of this artistry and talent these days sad to say.The artists who are still keeping it true classic country don't get much publicity. Gene Watson, Merle, George Jones, Ray Price and Janie Fricke are my favorites. Thank you. -Paula

STILL has!! saw him at the Palladium in London 3 weeks ago!! has to sit to play but it was magical!! All the band were sooooo good and the harmonies are amazing. They have been with him "since dirt" so he says!!! Who need disco lights and fancy dances when you can listen to a talent like this!! One off my bucket list!! ha ha!!
