'Buy Me Rose' was released in 1999 on 'She Rides Wild Horses'. In 2000 it became a number one record. You also can find another version of 'Buy Me A Rose' on Kenny's 'After Dark' album which was released in 1999, too.

This was my grandparents' favorite song. They were married for 42 years before my grandmother died from a brain aneurysm when I was 14. My grandfather followed in December of that same year. I was so sad to hear that Kenny had died, but thankful that TH-cam exists, with his music that touched so many people, including my grandparents.

Song makes me cry 12 years after my divorce...I remember just wishing my ex could meet me for lunch once in a while, or call me at work, or pick me flowers on the side of the road. He was so consumed with making money as he felt inferior to his brother - funny thing was, his brother had lots of money, but wanted the wife and child... which my ex had and couldn't see how much I loved him. People need to remember to always always do the little things for your partner. It reinforces your love. Let's face it, we all question our partners love at some point in life... but the little things mean you are on their mind, in their heart... and to most of us women, that means the World. Not money.

I have been playing this on replay and it got me thinking how my married life would be like. My Fiance was apologetic because he could not give me my dream wedding.
