I bought one of these to replace my Harman Kardon 3700 that conked out. The first time the HK suffered from cooked capacitors I managed to fix it, but not the second time. Very happy with the Marantz. It's no longer available so you are going to have to look for the next gen or buy used.
I've bought a SR6015 for €999,- and 10 banana plugs included. Extremely happy with sound quality and possibilities. I added an extra stereo Amp for more power to my front speakers which is possible because it has pre outs for all channels! How good is that 👏
I got one coming from USA to Scotland and I can’t wait. How good is it for music? Im running large KEF Q9 floor speakers and the matching KEF Q centre and bookshelf speakers, and 2 Triad ceiling speakers with the KEF Cube2 subwoofer. What do you recommend I do for extra speaker power ? I see you said you were using a separate stereo amp for your extra power, how many watts? I also have a Marantz integrated amp I was wondering if it would benefit this, I also have 2 Marantz mono amps 140 watts. I don’t want to over power my speakers. This is all fairly new to me and already I’m worrying I blow something up.
@@thebrightsideofthemoon5829 don't be afraid to overblown your speakers. I've got a 2x 525W Crown XLS1502 driving my 200W B&W DM604 S3 and they're never sounded so good. I listen mainly to (Dolby Atmos) music on Apple Music streaming from my Apple TV4K
The best receiver I've ever owned. Bought it on Ebay auction for $500, probably less then what it cost to build one. Great for movie experience.
